As a NUFC fan I find it prudent not to criticise other fans for behaving badly. Some people have memories.

I think the conversation went like this. WS- Ally quick we need to find out how to attack. AM - Look at this clipboard boss we might find a clue in there. WS- What are all of these bloody lines and arrows. And what the fuck is 4-4-2 AM - I think it's some new kind of continantal tactics boss WS - Tactics shmactics just put 3 players on AM - Who should I put on boss WS - Just any fucker who can head or hoof it AM - Boydy get your tracksuit off.

I was watching it and now realise why Walter Smith was shite in the EPL. At 75 minutes after 3 attempts on goal he was still playing 4-5-1 with some shite players looking at a clipboard. It was then too late. He has not got a clue and I reckon they will end up with the SFA cup and league cup when they lose the SPL to Celtic.

According to the continental shelf act 1964 and the continental shelf (jurisdiction) order 1968 act 90% of UK oil resources come under Scottish jurisdiction. Regardless of where their head office is if Scotland gained independance they would have to pay the Scottish parliament for rights to the oil. And when the oil runs out, will the economy be propped up by Irn Bru sales? The oil has all but run out hasn't it?? There's always the fried Mars bars trade I guess. According to recent studies the oil has a good few years left. But the point is the oil money will be used to invest. The main thing is the self sufficiency in non nuclear and non fossil fuel energy. That will make energy bills in Scotland a 3rd of their current rates. That means more money in the economy from businesses and households. It's stuff like that that worries me. It's a pipe-dream, it's flannel to sell you something that won't actually do what it says. The technology simply isn't there for even a fairly small population to be "self sufficient" with non-nuclear and non-fossil fuel energy. Never mind with some of the infrastructure issues they'd have to deal with in Scotland geography. Honestly that is as much pie in the sky as the Tories promising 0 tax for all. Scotland recently opened a new Hydro electric plant which wil at first provide electrisity to 250,000 homes. This output is a conservative start off figure. There have been 20 further sites in Scotland that have been identified as having the same or better potential. And as for transport I would say the era of the petrol driven engine is on the horizon with the improvements in hydrogen fuelled engine technology. And guess what gets made as a by product of some hydro electricity plants. Or from sea water which Scotland has in abundance. Scotland has a rosie future it seems a shame that the bitterness which used to reside here seems to have shifted south.

I was going to mention that too but I wasn't sure. Pretty sure he signed it recently.

No your right Scotland has no other economy other than oil. We have no Whisky or tourism or agriculture or manufacturing or service industry so we will solely rely on the oil. I think he was just asking the question rather than trying to be arsey. fair enough. It was not worded very well then.

Scottish politics not your strong point then? Perhaps I was being a bit strong but he seems to have moved a long way from his socialist roots in recent times. It is cheaper to be a student in Scotland than anywhere else in Britain. pensioners don't pay for a lot. pretty soon no one will pay prescription charges. Our council tax for lower end families is coming down. We have in Scottish hydro elctric the cheapest fuel provider in Britain. Just defeated Tory and Lib Dem bill to de nationalise the water company. When the Tories win the next westminster elections it will gift Scotland to the Nats. In which case watch the moves toward becoming completely self sufficient in hydro wind and wave electricity. Just a shame you're thirty years too late in being self sufficient in oil really Oil runs out. And wait til independance kicks in. It'll be fucking brilliant. I can't wait to see how you lot get on without the massive subsidies the English give you. Aye but when we go the oil goes with us. See how much you subsidise us then!! It's well known England props up the whole of the UK. It might be boom time for the celts since devolution but if you vote for independence, your taxes won't get the nice top up from south of the border they do now. So I'll be watching with interest to see how your politician's spend more policies get on with significantly less revenue. All the archaic formulas like the ones which give Scots automatic extra slices of public services and transport budgets that were conceived in the 1970's as a sop to you the last time you got uppity will also go, so that's another big chunk of money you're going to have to find. I welcome independence for the likes of you. The English get to spend their money on the English, Scots and Taffs if they want to go the same way do likewise. Seems perfectly fair to me, though no doubt once the reality sets in of what you've done up there there'll be some gnashing of teeth. Enjoy. You seem oblivious to the amount of oil revenuse from Scottish sources Britain relies on. Approximately 350 Billion ponds of income from Scottish oil wil be transferred to Scotland come independance. That pisses all over the amount Scotland gets thanks to the Barnett formula. Plus you will still be subsidising us thanks to the tariffs of the EU which will give us huge grants thanks to the terms for new members. face it England is in for a huge wake up call when Scotland gets independance. Along with the fact it pretty much ensures Tory domination for a long time to come without the labour seats Scotland has. But you go on in your daily mail fantasty world where England props up the economy of the other nations without receiving anything in exchange.

Thats because you're a take that fan Curtis was dead before I was born and I never got into them. Dostoyevsky was dead before I was born. Didn't stop me liking his work. -
How could it even be disputed? Amy the Ronettes have been on the phone they want their career back.

I thought it was quality too I just love Joy Division. However when I listen to bands from that period and culture it makes me despise the meaningless soulless bilge people listen to today. Yes I am that old. -

Control. Fucking brilliant. -
In my opinion. Kirkland is not as good as Harper (toon specs). Beckham is playing in a below championship level league and not been setting the world alight. Also will he really be there for the world cup which is what we are building for now?

Nothing is "up". It is all blatantly bollocks and Wacky I can give you my number to give the lad and I will tell him he is a liar. The one piece of evidence everyone overlooks on a daily basis is that Ashley paid £100 million off our debt. The only other money man to do that was Abramovic. If he wanted to sell for a profit it would cost too much. If he wanted to make money you have to get in the CL or at least europe. This whole idea of buying cheap and selling on is probably because the youngsters feel threatened by the talk of bringing better ones in. And yes I have worked in an environment of rumours. I used to invent them for a laugh. My favourite was about bringing uniforms into t-mobile.
