Are you really defending Wonga for using scare tactics and making up fake solicitors to terrify people into making payments they can't afford?

The reason they don't use real solicitors is because it costs a fortune and they would lose most cases at court. They aren't doing this to be kind to the poor folk you cretin

I remember getting letters from fake debt collection agencies as a kid after entering into one of those postal offers where you get the first CD free if you buy another five over the next five months. Obviously different sums involved but the same idea.

You still defending them after reading that thread CT? People trying to arrange repayments and getting letters back saying 'no, we want full payment and we've added £200 on, if you don't pay, our fake solicitor will prosecute you in court'

Horrible bunch if cunts

Cocaine stash in pants man Steven Blair jailed for 46 months

A 28-year-old man who was caught with a £410,000 haul of cocaine - including a package of the drug in his underwear - has been jailed for 46 months.

Steven Blair was caught with the drug in his car in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, on 2 October last year.

He later admitted acting as a courier to pay off a £2,000 gambling debt.

The High Court in Glasgow heard Blair was a former promising footballer who had spells with Rangers and Newcastle before working as a scaffolder.

Jailing him, judge Lord Burns told father-of-one Blair: "It is tragic that you became involved in this. You brought shame not only to yourself, but on your family. However, I accept you are remorseful."

Lord Burns said that, but for his early guilty plea, he would have jailed Blair for five and a half years.

Suarez #9 shirts on sale in the Nike shop in Barcelona.

Rumours are anything between £60m - £80m.

So a Striker who can't play football is being bought by a team that can't make signings

Our new Spanish signing spotted on Saturday at Blyth Spartans. Pretty quick deterioration even by Pardew's standards. (Someone have a word about the troosers, man). :jesuswept:
