But this thread was started 24 hours ago to replace another thread (parsnipped due to public embarrassment) that itself was about 2000 posts long. So that's 3000 posts on an issue fuck all to do with SAFC in the space of a few days. An issue on whether we should cash in on a £100 M asset or not. However he's on the old side (33 in September) and had mixed reviews at Arsenal, so let's not pretend he's a worldbeater or one for the future. He still had 3 years left on his Bayer contract but they were happy to flog him for less than they paid to sign him, makes you think.
