They said early on that the ceremony would happen tonight, so when the screens showed "medal ceremony" after the 100m final, everyone started cheering, only for it to be announced it was the women's discus final and there was a huge groan and then laughter. Ben Sheppard was "presenting" to the crowd before and after, so he explained what was going on. Fair number of people had left before that though, which just seems odd to me.
