Moussa Sissoko signs for Spurs for like £30m or WatEVA

The Chronicle saying that our valuation of him is £35m now.

Given the fees going about that seems fair given how he seems to be rated. Personally I still think he's massively overrated even when he is sufficiently motivated. His touch and final ball are both shite.

Imagine getting nigh on 2000% profit on a player that the majority of the fanbase are happy to see the back of

That must be every owners dream.

The good news is that the party line is "We don't want to sell and won't unless there's a big fee". The longer it drags out the better for us, surely? As it gets closer to the end of the window, won't the interested parties pay more than they would have preferred?

It usually works out that way. Of course then we just end up getting the money in without getting a replacement in. Mind you, we arguably dont need one.

At first glance - standard platitudes, nowt much of relevance. Hint of past tense in references to Newcastle (amid praise for the fans etc.) but I suppose you'd expect that.

Quote from his agent:

We do not understand. It was agreed that Moussa stayed one more season at Newcastle to help the team.

He did the best he could. The club has always said Moussa could leave for between 18m (£15.2m)and 25m (£21.1m) maximum.

We hope that Rafael Benitez and the president will be more reasonable about Moussas future.

He has always been loyal, he has always respected the club, the fans. There are clubs who came to us and the club [Newcastle]. We are fully aware of their approaches.

We want everything to go well

In that case he still has one more season of helping the club to go.

He didn't do the best he could, if he did then he's shit and should be in the championship anyway.

He has never been loyal, never respected the club or the fans since he talks about leaving everytime he goes to france.

I'm not sure what that agent statement is meant to do. We all think he's a cunt and personally I don't care if he leaves or is forced to see out his contract playing for NUFC U-21's, so having his agent whinge like a fucking baby acting like the bloke is some hard working loyal player despite the fact he's the opposite on both counts isn't going to help anything.

He's got no ability. Even when he does try he is still spooning crosses and skying shots. To suggest his only problem is his attitude is flattering him

Well, that's hyperbole.
