According to some who know him well apparently he doesn't get on with the England clique of Swann Broad Anderson whereas someone like Bresnan is seen as one of the lads. Tbh the 'jobs for the boys' attitude in general seems to be a big issue in the england set up. That does seem to be the case unfortunately. Flower (from the outside) looks like a twat, especially given the weak comments he made earlier on in the Ashes series publically stating his worry for the short-stuff.
