Blastronaut 1476 Posted August 22, 2023 Share Posted August 22, 2023 Rangers game aside, the Jota to Saudi Arabia transfer has been a strange spectacle. £25 million paid, a reported £100k+PW contract agreed and after two games the Saudi club have released him as a free agent. Sounds like the rumours have grown 8 legs and built some big fucking webs. Anyway, this guy seems to be very badly advised. In 2018 he was considered the great project of the Benfica quarry above Joao Felix, but since he refused to renew his contract (because Benfica wanted to put a termination clause of 120M), Benfica decided to continue leaving him out of the team and promote Joao Felix (who did sign an identical contract).
