Alex 42052
Apart from Rogers looking good for England when he’s played as a 10 I think Bellingham is less well suited playing there for England because Kane drops deep. He wants people running beyond him. There are players better in the wide positions and there are more disciplined players to shield the back 4. That’s in a 4-2-3-1 anyway. I know Tuchel has played a central 3 too where maybe he’s better suited in the England starting XI but does he want to play there? It’s difficult when you’re playing in your favoured position for the biggest club in the world then being asked to adapt for England. And fwiw, I think Ian Wright is spot on in that clip.

trainman 165
The number of mentions here that bellendingham is top class star quality future of the nation and the world... fuck OFF!! He's a midfield jobber, wanting to play all of 6,8,10 and then 9, he's an up his own arse CUNT that has no wish to play with the team, but only for his own selfish advancement. I know I'm biased but Foden (not last season, but generally) is far more skilful and dangerous in that attacking pivot and, if in the same team, bellend usually refuses to pass to him!! I hope Tuchel sticks to his guns and tells the mardarse there's no room for self-obsessed narcissists in his team... how do the media suck this cunt's cock? is he a closet scouse?
Billy Whitehurst 1282
Ian Wright always comes across as being a thoroughly decent bloke and I totally agree with what he says in that clip. The treatment that Sterling got from the press was absolutely disgusting and Wright is right on the money with his “uppity” point. For what it’s worth, I think Bellingham is quality but I fear he is going to get/is already getting the same treatment that Sterling got. I honestly don’t think he’d get the same treatment off the press if he was white.

That would be something at least if it takes out the drag on spending vs profits in previous periods. Also, if this is linked to revenue now instead of net profit does it mean teams can no longer get away with selling hotels, women's teams etc.? Have Chelsea pulled another fast one? You couldn't make this shit up.
Howmanheyman 43810
We really need to get creative, sort our own 'loophole' out then let them close it off to others with no retrospective action of course. That's how it's done isn't it?

I remember the treatment Beckham got when he was sent off against Argentina so I do think some white players get appalling shit from time to time but it's almost certainly worse for black players. However Bellingham is certainly a nob but also a world class player. But looking back at the "golden generation" you can't always make a successful team from world class players. Rather like with Messi, you have to pick the rest of the team to do the stuff he's unable or unwilling to do and I'm not sure we have enough of those players to carry him. Not suggesting he shouldn't go to the WC but he may not play as often as he wants and he's going to have to lump that for the good of the team. Yeah, Beckham had paper's printing dartboards with his face on, people were hanging effigies.. so far Bellingham has been called a bit of a nob by the press, but in terms of treatment he's not even in the same category as Beckham, let alone Sterling.

All this far right bollocks is infecting fucking everything, eroding fairness, justice, institutions, everything. Not that FIFA were ever exemplars for a system of fairness but it's just the casual way they've shat this out that pisses me off. They just do not care.
