Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Apparently we didn’t sell out a midweek fixture at Goodison after two relegations under Ashley and never took our full allocation ie the upper section of the Bullens stand, this according to a certain section of EFCs twitter fanbase qualifies us as the worst football supporters EVER! As I said to one of them the other night what they’re not quite realising yet is that they’re very likely just at the start of the process we endured  under Ashley, I also added that I wouldn’t wish him good luck because virtually  no one gave a fuck about us when we went through it, they can fuck right off :cuppa:

There’s definite similarities with their Wearside cousins. An owner who has spent a fortune on absolute shite and made a variety of terrible appointments.

And of course both clubs have employed paedophiles.

There’s more than a grain of truth there like.

Aye, as ewerk mentions it’s very similar to the mackems. The atmosphere at both clubs is so fucking toxic their players dread playing for them, it’s pretty fucking clear - you just have to look at Gordon’s celebrations after we brushed them aside and the way former mackem players act towards them. Utterly fucking vile and shite fan bases which are huge issues for their respective clubs, largely driven by their delusion that they’re both more impactful and important clubs than they are - the reality is both sides are just also rans. Everton will figure it out when they’re watching Steve Clardige do the championship highlights and the PL just moves on without them.

Nice to see Plymouth promoted back to the Championship for the first time since we relegated them on the same night we won the Championship and they had the good grace to still indulge our celebrations.

Arsenal tossing it away, Villa's resurgence, Chelsea's collapse, Bournemouth clambering to safety, Leeds have been all over the shop. Mental season.
