I'm not convinced he would have got us the 3 points today. Not saying he wouldn't. He doesn't tend to put away the chances that we didn't today. On the other hand, I am aware how lethal he can be. The biggest thing for me today was not having a Gordon or Barnes off the bench.

Think the general consensus from most non-dipper fans is that he shouldn't get his move. Hopefully the club feel the same and we're able to move forward without the cunt and also keep him from going to Liverpool.

At this point, I hope we, not only fuck his Liverpool move but also fuck his World Cup aspirations.

Yep, there’s no return to what it was; but there’s no way the club can afford to allow him to force his demands.

We’re a close-knit unit. We pull rank.

If we are going to get less than £130m I think we need to pull rank and not sell him.

The club being bigger than the player is important to stop Liverpool doing this to us again. We know they have form for it. They will attempt it again but we need a line in the sand.

This is not going to stop a single player signing for us. Noone is looking in on this, other than some deluded Liverpool and probably Manchester United fans thinking that Isak is hard done by.

Part of me wouldn't mind him going there and doing this for his move to Real Madrid, however, I think he would suit their system really well and I am ashamed to admit that, as a grown man, it would annoy me.

It’s a bit of a shit sandwich for the club. Play tough and possibly have a depreciating asset, a stink around the club, continued media distraction and damage to future PSR calculations.

Letting him go removes a lot of that but does set a precedent should we get another cunt in sheep’s clothing.

I think Howe would probably want ride and move on, but it will be some distant money man that calls the final shot.

I hope we keep him til the end of the window and then I don't really give a fuck what happens to him after that. Reintegrate or rot for the rest of the season. As long as we sign two strikers, I couldn't give a fuck what happens to that prick.

Like I said earlier today, it was one thing him being theoretically on strike, but when the first game comes around and he's just not there through his own choice, and his teammates are having to pick up the pieces? Fuck him.

Based on what I'd been told and the comments from those teammates today (Burn/Gordon), they heartily endorse that sentiment.

I don’t think he goes to Liverpool at any price this window. That’s based purely on how I think the owners will feel about the way Isak, his agent and Liverpool have behaved.

Any quotes from his idol, Henry, on all this?

I just found one actually.

“C'est dingue comme Isak s'est ridiculisé. C'est incroyable qu'il soit devenu si vite un vrai nul à chier. Il est même pas à la hauteur pour lécher mes crottes bien chaudes.”

I actually think (hope) if we don't get offered top dollar that the owners will make him sweat, am sure he won't get reintegrated unless the group are OK with it and if they're not, he will remain isolated.

as a kid I remember being devastated when spermac was sold.

waddle, bearsdley, gascoigne it all pretty much became par for the course in the 80s, waddle I seem to remember was probably given the most shit from the terraces with the judas chants.

I don't recall though with any of the above feeling the intense hatred I've got for this cunt.

id actually piss meself laughing if he ended up at the dippers and the cunt got a leg shattered in the first minute of his debut.

pathetic excuse for a man.

This entirely. Saudis operate on respect. It’s been anything but.

There’s consequences to be had

We should do to him what Forest did the van Hooijdonk all those years ago. Suspend him for a dozen matches then when he realised his career was fucked, play him.

Apparently when he scored his first goal his team mates refused to celebrate with them. They just walked back to their positions.

I hope he fucking rots and his s career fucking rots the greedy self centered cunt.

He's at a club in a region of working class people with rroots based on working class grafters who go to the game for Craig and enjoyment and escapism. If shows how fucking detached the scab bastard is. Fuck him

Agreed. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s Barca or PSG in January. Or very late in the window if we can get them to bite early

I'll caveat what I'm about to say by stating that I fully agree with and support the chants by the away support at the end, but do chants and sentiment like that from our fans weaken our negotiating hand, if only slightly. What I mean is that having Isak staying on the table in the negotiations obviously strengthens our hand. Conversely, if it's obvious that the prospect of Isak being reintegrated is close to impossible given fan sentiment, then Liverpool will be aware that we'll almost certainly be desperate to get rid.

The owners aren’t going to sell him to Liverpool because the fans think he’s a complete total and utter cunt.
