Hope he misses their first Champions League game too whilst Big Dig Nick scores a hat trick and is heralded as the signing of the summer.

Big Nick could outscore him and be absolutely mint and the sycophantic media would still bang on about Isak and Liverpool

It's odd how he isn't even on the bench.

Wonder if he will go on strike,

He doesn't have to there, because the exact same thing that didn't happen here is the exact same thing that won't happen there. So he has no reason to go on strike because he's being paid three times as much. Or some shit.

He won't go on strike until his cunt of an agent receives his final installment from Liverpool. As soon as that's in, he'll be looking for the next move.

The revisionism is ramping up. Spending £130m on a whiny cunt and making out like it's the Deal of the Century.

Spent £250m on two players that the press KNOW will come good.

Isak coming good is reliant on Wirtz coming good. Both could be insane flops.

Granted it was subjective, but the for the player ratings on the mobile app I use for matches, Wirtz & Isak were rated as Liverpool's lowest-scoring outfield players last night.

Ekitike

Wirtz

Isak

You're not fitting those 3 into the same XI regularly if ever. One of them is going to be a massive loser....

I think this is where Isak is going to come unstuck. He'll have gone there thinking that as a British record fee he's a shoe-in when considered fit, like he was with us. I think he's going to be disappointed.

Our maturity to play a squad game ahead of a defined preferred XI is behind Liverpool. If his eyes aren't wide open, the dummy may be spat before too long.

I also reckon his decision to go on strike, rather than do the right thing and train & make himself available to play for us might work against his ability to embed himself into regular consideration. All 3 are new signings - Wirtz & Ekitike are match fit; Isak isn't ... and that's entirely his fault!

I'm over him as being our player.

I'm enjoying letting the hate linger.

I'm interested in how Slot handles the situation he's in. Last season he won the title by changing Gravenbach's position and getting more out of Salah who's relationship with Klopp has deteriorated to say the least. They're both marks of a top class coach tbf; identify problems and sort them using your ability and the players already there. This is a whole different thing though; one of the 3 forward players signed this summer won't be happy. As Craig said if you're 6 weeks behind in fitness that's not a good start...

It'll likely be Ekitike that throws the first wobbler to be honest. He's played well and yet the first 'massive' game he's unceremoniously dropped to the bench for a bloke who's not trained properly or played a minute of competitive club football?

And I'm here for all of it.

Don’t read too much into that tbh, it’s called being French, I worked for a French company for three years and with French clients for last 5 years, they fucking love a hissy fit, but they mean absolutely nowt by it. Been treat like I’d stabbed someone’s mam in a meeting before then 10 mins later like I was same hissy fit Frenchies best mate.
