Hi chaps first post.

I love the fact that Isak is having a torrid time.

Welcome.

I believe our German friends have a word for it.

If Isak had took the shot at John Lennon instead of Mark Chapman he'd be 83 today.

If he tried to do what Felix Bumgardener did, he’d be orbiting Uranus about now.

It's not super active tbh, or at least I don't seem to understand how their forum is organised. It's a self important hellhole of a community though, they won't even let peasants comment in the match thread, just designated forum approved commenters.

He didn't press a great deal with us tbh. Especially when things were against us. He would go missing for long periods. But when he's on a streak and we're creating he was deadly.

absolute fucking cesspit that place is.

no big surprise they went incognito.

it's a haven for murderers, thieves, heroin dealers, wife beaters, dole scroungers and hand wringing self pitying cunts.

makes the smb look a benchmark for the intelligent and morally correct.

the fucking disgusting scouse pricks.

watching the skinny cunt yesterday when the camera was panned in on him something id never noticed before but the rat was blinking continuously, he looked shot to fucking pieces almost frightened to me. thought exactly the same when he was doing his sweden captain (chortle) interview when being asked about newcastle and howe. he looked nervous and uncomfortable.

he's being absolutely piled on now by a shit load of the pundits, rooney the latest to slaughter the malnourished piece of vermin. comments have apparently been disabled from his instagram page too, bless the poor soul.

a few more weeks of being shite and if I was his family id have the sociopathic narcissistic cunt on suicide watch.

all very tragic really.

He used to do the blinking thing here too. Gordon does it as well. I assume it's some weird sports psychology thing they've bought into, or else they've both got the same tic.

Quote

Aldridge said on LFC TV (19th October, 18:35): “I expect him to score them. The first one, that he snatched at, I expect him to hit the target at least, but the second one, in the corner, it was pretty much near the goalkeeper.

“When you see him at Newcastle, he finds the corners really well.

“Again, it is the pressure of being a Liverpool player, scrutinised.

“He’s not at Newcastle now.

“We are one of the biggest clubs in the world and you are scrutinised in every game.

“If you make mistakes, wow, they are on top of you. You’ve got to stand up and be counted.

“I’m pretty sure Isak will get the goals, but we’ve got to find him a way to get him the chances as well.”

It’s the casual arrogance of Liverpool that makes this ‘blip’ so enjoyable.

He did do it a little bit but he’s doing it all the time. That’s Isak I mean. Gordon does it a lot also.

Wonder if the pressure is getting to him. Liverpool look disjointed. They all want the glory for themselves and as such choose the wrong attacking option.

Aldridge is such a knacker. It's got fuck all to do with "Liverpool being one of the biggest clubs in the world." He's scrutinised in every game because they broke the British transfer record for him.

I don't recall him pressing much, I do recall him having the knack of being in the right place at the right time and having a lethal shot on him.

BTW Haaland cost 2/5 of what Isak did.

His pressing was good. BDB mentions how clever he was with it in a podcast as it was upto Isak to call when we went for it.

you can see Woltemade starting it now. He forces an option off from the Gk and makes them play it where we want it (eg long kick)

isak fluffed plenty of easy chances when he was with us - usually when one-on-one with the keeper, when he had too much time to think about it. however he was one of the best instinctive finishers i've seen for us.

his pressing could be good, but there were times when he looked leggy and went missing from games and our press suffered as a result. it's hard to know how much of that was in the body or the mind

He benefitted from a run in our team to get his confidence up. For his first 12months here he was rotating with Wilson and there wasn't much between them. Im not sure he's going to like sharing the striker spot with Ekitike (and vice versa). Liverpool have ended up with two of the best strikers in the league and will manage to huff both of them before long.

Aye, I don’t think there’s any team in the league (apart from us) with two a-side number nines. Ultimately at least one of them is going to get pissed off.

I know a lot of this is hearsay etc but I was talking to someone recently who reckoned Isak couldn’t consistently press with the intensity Howe wanted. That’s not to say Howe wanted rid or anything as Isak clearly has other qualities and getting Wissa in would’ve allowed Isak to play less and not to have to play the full 90 so much. It’s a mate of my dad’s whose son is a coach at the academy like so it’s not exactly straight from the horse’s mouth.
I think a lot of it re: Isak’s current form is a lack of confidence plus the pressure of the fee. The team look quite disjointed in general and he’s also got a very similar type of player competing for the same spot. He’s brought loads of it on himself so fuck the rat cunt and long may it continue. He could’ve almost certainly still got a move under completely different circumstances.

Yeah. He used to break down a lot and I don’t think Isak wanted to spend his game pressing either. He probably thought he was too good for it, hence 1 reason he wanted to leave.

This is exactly what I think. Throw Salah in the mix and you have 3 selfish players who want the glory for themselves.

They'll probably see the best of Isak when Salah fucks off to Saudi.
