I can see the logic of starting Targett from a man management perspective. In the sense that I’m sure he’s been asking for football and there’s an opportunity for him. You’d hope that performance put that to bed though

I know they have mad amounts of data on all the players and take it really seriously, so if the data says they can only play x minutes they might be sticking to it religiously.

 

Same might go for the new lads, if they've turned up undercooked from their other clubs.

Eddie is probably a bit too loyal to underperforming players. I can’t see many changes for the next match with players like Bruno being away on international duty. But it is going yo be interesting to see how Eddie copes with the dense schedule in the next couple of months.

His hand will be forced eventually - he’s going to have to rotate when the champions league games kick in, which might be a blessing as it will give other players more of a chance to play their way into the first team

We're just way off the levels his chat suggests we'll be at. We better shape up or Amanda's emotional knife will come out. It's how it's going.

 

In reality I think we'll finish 6th or 7th then challenge for the title next year but I don't think he'll be afforded the time to do it sadly.
