It was coming, hard to have a go at Pope as he's made some decent stops but he's just gave away possession too easy then doesn't get connection on the corner, sky were fucking willing them to score.

Twice we've put out 5 defenders and shut up shop to try and hold on at home this season and twice conceded last minute goals. Not sure how well that tactic is working.

Another gutting loss to take. It's now a bad start to the season. Have to get up and dust off somehow. Hope Tino is not in too bad a shape somehow.

Need to upgrade the LW next summer. Gordon and barnes are just not good enough for a top team, squad players at best. Barnes at least has some use sometimes getting a goal coming off the bench in the last 30. Sell gordon.

The quick kick was a bit enthusiastic from Pope, but for the corner he needed protection, you can't have them stick a big centre back on your keeper, you have to have a big defender of your own to clear their defender out.

That foul on Tino should result in a suspension for Saliba. I'd say there's a fair chance from his reaction that he's redone his ACL. Fucking hope not.

We didn't shut up shop though. We were still going for it despite not really having the playing staff to grab a winner. After they scored, we weren't winning that game, we should have slowed it down and held on.

Stupid corner to concede. Pooe shouldn’t have shot the ball upwards aimlessly before.

Not a very good performance tbh. We were lucky to be in the lead for quite a long time. But conceding those goals close to the end is sickening.

But what horrible whining and dirty cunts are Arsenal. The dirty elbow after not getting a foul for a slight touch. The constant shirt grabbing and pushing while going down as quickly as possible themselves. The dirty foul on Tino to just push a player out of balance who got the ball.

Übercunts

It was in all honesty, a shit performance.

Didn't create too much first half. Good header but Pope kept us in front.

Came out for 5 mins second half then sat back the whole game. Invited pressure and two headers beat us. Got absolute units at the back and concede from essentially two set plays against Stoke on steroids.

Have winnable games that need to be converted over the next few weeks.

Pope was MOTM until the end. Awful kick and poor box management.

Really hope Tino is OK but looks ominous.

Perhaps you're forgetting that a player in red with his arm extended unnaturally contacted the ball in the box. Highlighted the bit that was important to the VAR.

Utterly awful decision. His arm is as far outstretched as possible and prevents the ball from going into a dangerous position.

It simply should not be there.

Hope Arteta chokes on his dinner.

Easy in hindsight to say what we should have done, we could have equally have knicked it in an unlikely fashion.

I hope Tino isn't as bad as first feared but looks ominous.

Fair point, it was a stone wall pen but it's not like we were playing for that. Truth is, we've been powder puff up front all season.

Sickening that but they were miles better than us today.  We’ve gone too defensive.  This season is a recovery season.  Hopefully get back on track sooner rather than later.

Sad but 100% correct.
