One of the daughters has come back from holiday with the lurgy and I have a feeling I've got it, it's not here yet but it's in the post I can feel the first signs of it so better make the most of tonight before it fully kicks in.
-
This is the same one who said he would drive him to SJP as hes shit
-
My BIL, THE SCAN CUNT! Said if we pay £55m for him we've had our pants down
-
Of course I'm taking her out to a restaurant you knacker. Happy anniversary to you and Mrs Rents. 30 years of you and stained glass dreams, where did the time go? She deserves a medal the size of a frying pan.
-
We should have had a buy back clause on Anderson, seeing as we gave them the deal of the century. £20m for a keeper as likely to get near the first team as Demis fucking Roussos.
-
you definitely get an exciting prospect from abroad for a lot less than the prices mooted for Elanga or Semenyo. We’ve been linked with Bakayoko, Kubo, Kuhn et Al but sounds like Eddie prefers PL experience this time.
-
Perhaps we can bump the offer up by giving them the Greek keeper back
-
This. It always made me assume she had herpes.
-
Should think we would get him for £55m
-
I'm not sure who's the more consistent of the two, they're both great on their day but can blow hot and cold. Semenyo always does well against us but from what I've seen I think I'd prefer Elanga overall. Not sure either is worth over 50M.
-
I think Nottingham Forest has no intention of selling and, on the contrary, will want to sign more players and strengthen their squad to try to finish in the Top 6. Elanga, at least statistically, is their best player or the most decisive. I don't know if they have to comply with Fair Play and get rid of any players to do so, but knowing their owner, they'd certainly go all the way to avoid having to sell, risking future sanctions. Yesterday, during the Club World Cup, they were saying they've signed three Botafogo players for less than 40 million euros.
-
Congratulations. Coincidence, it's actually my 30th anniversary today. Fucking hell I'm old etc. Anyway, I'm actually taking my wife out tonight to a restaurant, unlike you unromantic pig. Good thing about being the 30th is I'm saving money by giving her a pearl necklace later. Think Mrs Rents might be more than a bit disappointed....

i like the player but if the price is £60m of thereabouts.....i dunno. you might get semenyo for that price, who looks a more exciting prospect to me.
-
Evidently Man U have a 20% sell on clause with him so that'll drive up the price they want, he's also still got £9 Mill book debt from amortising his original fee.
-
-
I’d be worried if they didn’t reject the first offer tbh
-
Or suggests they don't want to sell, a counter would indicate they do.
-
still the greatest form of the game
-
it's been some test match, this
-
I can't see them willing to consider parting with him for much below £60m. Ornstein makes a comment in his tweet that Forest rejected it without counter. Suggest it's a 'take it or leave it' bid?
-
Bugger
-
£45m bid for Elanga rejected.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Yes but that's history washing and goes against the "people's club" narrative. -
Again, I had to check that was a direct quote. The language and postering in politics is pretty much unbelievable these days, especially in the US.
