  2. Couldn't agree more the 2 seasons with Keegan in the 2nd division were by far the most fun I ever had, I was living in London but managed 30 plus games both seasons. The London branch of the supporters club organised cheap train travel, for home games it was a tenner for an open return ticket 0900 from King's X, any train back. The 19:00 train back was the last sensible choice, I always ended up on the 1am rattler, pissed as a cunt, that went via Cambridge and Peterborough and got into King's X for 0830 Sunday morning, then straight over to Hackney Marshes to play Sunday League. Away matches were the bomb though, none of that ticket shite just turn up, and the more of you there were the more of the ground they would open up A particular favourite was early on in the frenzy when the bandwagon started to roll was Rotheram away. We'd just signed Terry Mac what a day
  3. And the mackem chav won't allow them to be anywhere near the beach v us. That and the Everton Gemmill hex, or hexG if you prefer.
  4. Do you know any tunes other than the funeral march?
  5. Also Re' Forest, they seem to have gone off the boil somewhat and hopefully they continue to do so!
  6. TBH I think all 3 games are tough. Don't let Everton fool you. Thankfully we are at SJP, but Moyes has them difficult to beat.
  7. Forest have got Leicester next then West Ham. That’s going to guarantee them 4 points (most likely 6). We have two really tough games. I’d snap your hands off for a win v Chelsea and defeat at Arsenal right now.
  8. This is some great "Origins of 'The Run-in' Thread" lore. The kind of deep investigative analysis this thread is crying out for tbh. Personally, I'd be interested to see "Paul", as the third most significant contributor to this discussion that we know of so far, elaborate on his views.
  9. Turkish contractor Limak to build new Luton Town stadium | Construction Enquirer News
  10. That invitation was not open to Rasta Mung Bean.
  11. I've updated my excellent analysis, I just won't be sharing it with you ingrates.
  12. Today
  13. really pissed me off seeing that at the time, the odd empty seats here and there you can expect where folk have gone and squeezed in next to a mate. but there was clearly a big block in the top left hand corner visible. can't think of any explanation for that other than the club deciding not to sell them. the cunts.
  14. Think he saw this from his lord and master then just added some figures for shits and giggles then posted it all on here in some sort of weird one upmanship/imaginary punching down excercise. Strange cat
  15. looking very dated now the content in the original post. a valued board member would've corrected that immediately.
  16. You know, I wasn't panicking with that statement It's just something I perceive as highly probable now. I've backed us to beat Chelsea for weeks
  17. Yesterday
  18. Bollocks, Five Swans only serve beer from 9:00 and even then it must be with food. I only know this as I went into town a few weeks ago with a magnificent hangover and thought a hairy dog might be an idea, but ended up with a fucking 'cola'. I couldnt even work out where the coffee machine was let alone the bogs Bastards
  19. Definitely agree with giving Gordon a go, but would also stick with Murphy. He and Isak seem to get more room to play against the better teams.
  20. Aye I'd start Gordon with one of Barnes or Murphy as an impact sub just for the energy he has. Also it's easy to forgot given the form Murphy and Barnes have been in but Gordon is still overall our most complete winger imo. Hopefully Isak and Bruno see more of the ball too given Chelsea will play more expansively. Not saying this based off of yesterday only but Bruno has a lot to improve on in his more advanced role. We know he can't shoot but he also hangs onto the ball for far too long before releasing it, maybe that's his natural instinct given he's mostly played in a more defensive role breaking up play but it needs to change.
  21. They should have won that with the chances they had. But good effort from them, showing the champions what a bit of integrity looks like.
  22. That'll do, as for the pen, why'd it take so long on VAR was a double pen in truth, blatantly obvious at first look to me.
