The village of Blatten, in the Valaise canton of Switzerland, has been wiped out following a glacier collapse and the resulting landslide. The village was evacuated three weeks ago following advice from geologists, but reports that a 64yr old man is missing. Twitter link but it’s the only one I can find showing this view of the landslide. 90%of the village is buried, with the remaining homes now being flooded as the debris has dammed the river and a lake is forming

I know it's old to say it, but every now and then I read something about Trump, like TP's story there, and just think to myself how in fuck have we let society come to this? We're completely ruled and dominated by absolute criminals who will get away with anything they can because they're rich enough to view it all as a 'game'.
