With Spurs and Man United I think it speaks to how dysfunctional the two clubs are. Look at Palace - in the FA Cup Final and can't stop winning, with players presumably playing for a spot in the final. Spurs and Man United players could not give a fuck and their managers can't get them to care. Different story with Liverpool but they showed some segments of play on MOTD2 where they were just allowing Arsenal to pass the ball through their midfield, with no pressure on the all and no one even moving above walking pace. Maybe it's understandable when you've had the season they've had, I don't know. But with Man United and Spurs in particular, it absolutely reeks

Is that Louise Taylor’s inelegant tautology? -
there's a pub in cheltenham called the railway that's had lads and lasses on the bog doors for years. no newcastle connection in its ownership in the 35 years I lived down there and none prior as far as I was aware. seems the long arm of geordiewashing has stealthily been at work since at least the back end of the 80s.

Man United, Liverpool and Spurs, particularly spurs and the mancs haven't had a lot of negativity thrown their way over just given up on the league now they have a back door chance of the CL. That's their prerogative but they've definitely been given a free pass by the sports media. An honest league? It's anything but for so many reasons.

They are as well, warped and gone pink in the sun.

If he’s referring to the farm in Northumberland then surely, given the location, there’s a fair chance the owners are heroic MLFs anyway
-
Massive Fannies.
-
Motherfuckers, absolutely
-
Does this mean that all the MLFs are now just MFs?

Absolutely warped seats, marra

He's literally upset it uses colloquial dialect, which is the same as what the mackems use incidentally. Apparently it proves how insular we are.

Hi Padraig, turf cutting done for the day I see apologies….who to? What for? -
Perhaps it was the communal nature of the facilities that he was worried about.

Let that be a warning. If you don’t abide by our ridiculous and completely mythical standards, we’ll all do a big boo at you as you’re on your way to the biggest club in the world for a gigantic pay rise. Some warning

Strange thread on there about Tynemouth food festival having the gall to charge 3.50 for entry. I mean, the Priory normally charges a tenner but never mind. All the usual shite about mag shirts. But then this. Imagine getting upset over this? Who are the mental ones?

I wouldn't be surprised to see more points dropped by our CL rivals either. There's only Villa and us that picked up maximum points at the weekend, even though Man City and Forest were playing two of the relegated clubs. As shit as Man United have been, they always spawn a result up every now and again, and they're long overdue to do that. Obviously they're distracted at the minute, but you never know. Man City have got the FA Cup final at the weekend, and Bournemouth at home 3 days later. That's a candidate if Bournemouth turn up a not better than they did v Villa the other night.

To up the dream further, Pickford to concede an absolute last minute howler to gift us the game and then soil himself in front of the Gallowgate.

Was looking back at some of my posts from nearer Brexit, a much angrier time for me I think me of 4 years ago was right on this though: Ignore the EU focus of that because really you could say the same about any issue. If we fall into line with an ever more right leaning Labour party, we will never realise anything we want to see happen. Starmer has proven that in his first year in power.
