Have they tried turning it off and turning it back on again?

I feel quietly confident about our CL chances. I think this team has the technical and mental qualities to see this through and now some experience as well. Plus we've got a freaking great manager. I like our chances best after City's probably. Obviously this part of the league has been tight for a while and will continue to be so, nothing is a given, we just need to keep up the intensity. I'd be way more worried if I was Chelsea or Forrest.

For me some of the sausage waving has descended into something a bit over the top. Taking over from the legitimate wang waving of the forums true chads, these mimics are like a kind of Toontastic cargo cult filled with impersonators waving around big plastic dildos in the hopes that they're doing it correctly. A true wang waver does not reject pragmatism. Any hole is a goal, lads, all true sausage squad members know this.

Sending the referee to the screen is pantomime at its finest. Look at the video below for an example. Refs need/want to be seen as the authority figure. But it isn't fooling anyone at this point. Sport was better before VAR. But all video review systems are really just the product of action replays and high resolution video introduced into broadcasting imo. Everything is analysed to within an inch of its life. To be fair to the refs they do have an enormous amount of pressure on them. It'd be a horrible job. But as far as VAR goes, we're never going back and it's never going to be anywhere close to perfect with so much subjectivity involved. Ultimately I think the problems have been identified: the refs are sub-standard and lean on VAR as a crux in a lot of cases. It's only human to behave differently when you're basically living in a real life panopticon. But still the refereeing standard could certainly be much better than it is.

You did. As nice as the domestic trophy is, it wonât keep Isak here this summer or bring in much needed millions to help us catch upto the âbig boysâ. The next 4 games will determine if we take that next step on the ladder or remain trapped in a PSR strangle hold and a stagnant squad. Only so many miracles EH can pull off without CL money. Its pretty simple.
