  1. Past hour
  2. Aye, Murphy has played a lot of football this season. I wouldn’t mind seeing Gordon on the left and Barnes on the right.
  3. They seem to be at least having a crack at it!
  4. Today
  5. I wonder if Eddie has got a tactical rabit lined up for this one - five at the back or something. I quite liked Isak in the number 10 role late in the game against Brighton. Looked way more involved. Not suggesting we start like that but some kind of curve ball to exploit Chelsea’s weakness.
  6. Palace unchanged from the side that battered Villa.
  7. According to Hope, Brighton should have had that pen when the player basically leaned onto Tonali and fell over.
  8. If fit, I think Gordon needs to start. If anything to give the first team a little refresh and keep people on their toes. Barnes has been great. Its harsh if he is dropped and also Murphy, but I did think Gordon did give us a little burst.
  9. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/may/05/antony-real-betis-isco-kidnap-manchester-united-la-liga Another Man United player that appears to have left and started looking like a good player again. Antony this time.
  10. They won't, they don't have Eddie.
  11. I don’t disagree which is why I treat it more as a standalone event. It’s never happened in our lifetime and even if we win it next year, I’m pretty sure most of us will stay dry eyed. Where as how our league season plays out, significantly impacts the clubs upward journey. I will be overjoyed we’ve won a cup, but gutted if we miss out and stagnate while the likes of Villa and Forrest overtake us.

  13. You just know that cunt's going to play a blinder last game of the season. But if we handle Chelsea and the Arse, it won't matter.
  14. we could afford to draw this but we’d then need to beat arsenal and Everton in our final two. Much better to dispatch these then we probably only need to beat Everton and could afford to drop points at arsenal
  15. randomly bumping in to footballers in unexpected places. jordon pickford on his way in to tescos in cinderford in the forest of dean.....
  16. A draw would be disappointing but not a disaster depending on palace v forest tonight and Bournemouth v Villa on Saturday
  17. Hello, this isn't the Toontastic forum you think it is. This is a forum about the football team, Newcastle United. 👍

    That's such a predictable response.

EVERY fixture outside of 3pm Saturday kick offs will be televised, and that means that 3pm Saturday kick offs are going to become an endangered species. There are 113 possible 3pm Saturday kick offs next season, but even some of them will get moved.
