  4. have we signed another sick note?
  5. All signs point to this being a wisd signing. With Botman and Lascelles missing to start the season he should get some chances and he appears to bring some speed which is definitely required.
  6. Spads aren’t civil servants. As a minister you wouldn’t want them to be because they’re basically consultants who you don’t want to be impartial. Long story, short: The letter proves the exact opposite of what he says / thinks it does.
  7. Thick Ric at it again. Posting a letter from the Cabinet Secretary claiming it proves the £2k thing when actually it doesn't. I know he'll just be hoping that normal people won't bother reading it, but the incompetence and dishonesty of these people is wild. Not to mention their contempt for voters. This bloke shouldn't even be a leading figure in a post-election Tory party with sub 150 seats, never mind one with a decent majority.
  8. If he gets over his injuries then he'll be a class signing - he's a great defender on his day - just has his own personal bed in the physio room, which is a worry.
  9. On a free this is a no brainer. Good player with good pace (which we don't have loads of in the back 4 currently). A lot better than what most people think imo.
  10. Or their homophobia - regularly refer to gay people as "the gays" when they make their shit up about gay people being thrown from buildings. Or in the derby build up talking about dressing up as immensely gay stereotypes to support the LGBT community. I also love the fact that they expect us to be outraged and take to the streets about human rights abuses in Saudi but they have done less than fuck all about it - unless you count rehashing their racist propaganda, half truths and outright lies on RTG All of their virtue would go right out the window if some middle eastern prince offered to buy out the frat boy. They'd wank off their dads (for a third time that day) just to lend his tea towel to get down the stadium in time for Look North.
  11. Yeah it worked out about the same, so we plumped for UK purely for ease.
  12. I love the way they just can't hide their racism and xenophobia. "backwards Eastern European teams" ffs. The fucking brass neck, what do they think Sunderland is in comparison?
  13. I was talking to a mag at work and I pointed out I’d been talking to AC Milan fans and after they told me they hate the mags anarl they said they had to lewk up Newcastle on a map. But they knew exactly where it was once they realised it was about 10 miles from Sunderland
  14. Today
  15. If he can stay fit until Botman is fit to play again and provide cover at CB and LB when needed, then I think the transfer can be viewed as halfway decent already at that point. Based on his injury record that seems fairly unlikely, but as a free transfer coming into the squad to provide cover and more competition for places behind Burn at left-sided CB and Hall at LB, then I think it's worth a punt. Perhaps the biggest worry is the length of contract. Hopefully his wages are unders or heavily weighted toward play-time so he can either be moved on more easily or doesn't cost us too much if he turns out to be a permacrock. There is potential here that we end up in a player we can't shift if things go badly. Otherwise, it doesn't seem like there's much downside to this signing. Bit of a risk. But the stakes are pretty low so it's one we can hopefully eat if it goes titsup.
  16. The funny thing is, I believe this list was compiled by the Daily Heil. The partial tick is Brexit btw.
  17. Hendrick also gone. Apparently he was on a bout £50k. How long does Hayden have left on his contract?
  18. Nice, thats an extra £10,000 in the PSR transfer kitty!
  19. So the tories are cutting NI again, funded by cutting disability and sickness benefits, at a time they have ruined the NHS. Standard. Deep breaths. Just over 3 weeks to go until they are gone.
  20. Romano saying Lloyd Kelly deal done.
  21. It's mad. With FoM, you had young people from the EU filling gaps in employment and returning home after a few years or on a seasonal basis. Reciprocated with our kids of course. Now we have entire families arriving from different continents on visas, and they are not returning. And of course, lets face it, they are the wrong colour and creed for the average Brexiter. But few will admit they are wrong even now. It's been an utter disaster and nobody can even talk about it now.
  22. It’s what they voted for, they need to own it. Because they can’t possibly admit they might’ve been wrong
  23. 🍒 supporters opinions are mixed 😑
