  1. Past hour
  2. He has been most of the season by the looks of it Plus Ten Pence
  3. The artwork will have been chosen by Miley, they'll have worked the design together on paper before any ink went near him. It'll be his design. Also no way thst was done yesterday, it looks pretty healed up and I suspect it was a more than one sitting job. If he likes it, that's all that matters.
  4. "I've been clear..." Toryspeak.
  5. They've been feathering the bed for a "bad for Labour" story all week. It all starts tomorrow afternoon when/if Houchen sneaks through after only giving up a 19 point swing to Labour which, if repeated in the region in a GE, would see the Tories wiped out.
  6. And the Rayner effect. People are poorer and they're struggling. They know their own realities. They can't hide that from them. I've been consistent on this point for two years when a lot or people were wettting the bed.
  7. I'm sure some of the tories supported by their client media managed to turn a 30 point swing to Labour in a recent by election into a "bad night for Labour". Has it helped them, has it made any difference? I'm not sure it has.
  8. That sweet, sweet Rwanda bounce.
  9. Wild listening to people in the media saying that the Tories have successfully managed to put the media focus onto the Tees Valley and West Midlands mayoral races, which they have a chance of winning. I mean, you know you're talking about yourself and how easy you've been to manipulate, don't you? It's like they've been hypnotised.
  10. https://theathletic.com/5461119/2024/05/02/pep-guardiola-time-to-quit?source=user-shared-article Makes some good points. He should leave this summer, take the England job, win the WC in 2026. But most importantly, he should get the fuck out of the PL and give someone else a go at winning things.
  11. I saw that comment and that nee way man, it's GASH. The artwork tbh I think she's a canny decent tattooist, its what it is. Nah. Not for me like.
  12. If the kid likes it, so what, it'll have been his own design. Although starting with a sleeve is a tad extreme.
  13. Today
  14. Braverman in the news again.
  15. I'll definitely watch it, the down turn in fortunes after the league cup win will be absolute cinema.
  16. Apparently there’s a fly on the wall documentary being made (filming started in January) about Klopp’s final months at Liverpool. But no streaming service has picked it up yet. I don’t know about anyone else but I would definitely watch it
  17. Not what I said, but each to his own
  18. He’s class isn’t he. As if getting the marketing department to come into the office is going to turn the club around. Everything he does is purely for external image - just meaningless gestures. The Ashworth bit here proves Gemmill’s point, it’s just guff and bluster from a bloke that thinks he can just strong arm people into doing what he wants - which he will do within his business, the difference here though is he’s not got a fucking ounce of leverage and is dealing with people far, far richer than he is. I always find the Man U fans whinging about this funny, acting as if it’s some big issue for us when in reality Ashworth was put on leave and we immediately set about moving forward leaving him and Man U to sort it out - we’re just waiting for them to either give a proper offer or let him hang about on leave.
  19. My main concern with Kelly is he’s seemed to struggle with injury’s the last 2 seasons, so out of the two I’d lean more towards signing Tosin.
  20. It’s not really a surprise the media are all over our best players leaving, they’re fucking desperate. He’s clearly very happy at the club, is playing brilliant football, and said himself he joined the project. I find this story of a wage reduction for missing out on the CL to be a bit weird given that we hadn’t qualified for CL football when he signed for us (and it was a massive longshot), unless he got an increased wage and now it’s dropping? But seems a little weird to put in when signing for a club that at the time was far off CL spots. From the clubs side he’s probably the last player we should ever think about selling. Strikers are one of the hardest positions to fill never mind one who is arguably world class (or at least heading towards that bracket).
