  1. "Now for all you Sunderland fans, we've got Doug Buggerall out of his nursing home to give you his match telephone report from Roker Park live from 1992....." "Sunderland fans might've been expecting a great start to the season but were soon to be disappointed when Newcastle United won earlier in the day so it was a subdued Roker at kick off....."
  2. Something similar happened to me when I was about 8, I looked away, rubbed my eyes etc..... still there so I shouted out loud and dived under the covers shitting myself till my dad came running through. I remember he wasn't amused*. *Probably as I described the thing as shape like an Afrika Korp uniform hovering but no real head/face. I was into army/airfix soldiers etc.
  3. Never watched look north for about twenty years, they watch it every Monday like it's 1992.
  4. Pleased for Gordon, would love to see RTG's take.
  5. To TDanSmith I feel compelled to share a chilling warning, not just for the good of our forum, but for the future of our society. What I’m about to say may sound unbelievable to some, but I urge you to listen closely. The global elite – those in power who pull the strings behind the scenes – are engineering a plan to impose Sharia law upon us. This isn't some distant theory or far-off possibility; it’s happening right now, in plain sight. The key players, some of whom are positioned as saviors of the common man, are secretly making deals with the very forces we once feared. The terms? They will be exempt from the laws they impose on the rest of us. Mark my words, only the likes of Musk and Farage stand in a position to fight back against this unprecedented betrayal. They alone see the true scope of the elite’s manipulations, and yet, even they may be too late. This is not just political or economic. It’s a systematic overhaul of our freedoms, masked as "progress." If you think it’s just some theoretical alarmism, you’re sadly mistaken. The walls are closing in on us. The signs are everywhere, hidden in plain sight. As I write this, I hear a loud banging on my door. (Loud bang, footsteps) It’s them. The authorities. They’ve come for me. I’ve been too vocal, too close to uncovering the truth. Before they take me, I leave you with one last warning: We are not just on the brink of a new world order. We are at the precipice. Do not let your guard down. This isn’t a drill. I can hear them outside. It’s over. But remember what I’ve said. The global elite think they can silence the truth, but they can’t hide it forever. Watch, listen, and prepare. We are all in this together. Stay alert. Stay united. Stay free.
  6. 'Moore is a conservative writer who works for right 'think tank'.....' I couldn't give a fuck what he thinks in his paid for right wing tank tbh.
  7. I can't get away with Coleman at all, never have and it pre-dates anything to do with Sunderland.
  8. I've never heard him speak about Sunderland but I'm just going to assume he loves them because to know them is to love them, obviously.
  9. Winter often has nice things to say about NUFC but ultimately he knows where his bread is buttered like the vast majority of them.
  10. I recommend you don't wear a Celtic shirt on the Shankill Road.
  11. Also, just to fool the guards, they could approach the gates along the fence with the exit to freedom on the left, indicate right when they get there but actually turn left on the sly.
  12. They could've sent them bicycles so they could play chicken with the German guards by cycling towards the gates then turning around last minute but actually riding through when the guards got bored and started doing something else.
  13. The Arctic Convoy. A Norwegian film about a particular merchant navy convoy to Murmansk during the war which was ordered to scatter and got into a load of trouble. Love maritime stuff and this is a more than decent action film. It's only got a 6.5 rating I noticed which I can only put down to it being subtitled and the people marking it down expecting to see something more American based with US actors?
  14. I once had to go to a house in Sunderland about a job, the couple in their mid thirties were babysitting their grandkid, the lass asked the lad to bring through the bairns nappy from the bedroom. He goes to the bedroom then comes back with something in his hand. Their lass then shouted, "That's me fanny pads, Jahdon!!! Ya showing wa right up, ee-a in front of this Mag, like." (Some of the above may be exaggerated).
  15. Most of them would be tearing the head off it if Fender was an MLF let's be honest. I'm not bothered in the slightest about him, good luck to the kid but it's not my cup of tea, the mackems give him waaaaay more thought than I do.
