Being fair though, he did get 7 goals that season he was on loan with them. Hugely impressive number. To put it into context, when Shola was the same age playing for us, he also managed 7 goals in 25 games (26 to be exact) when he was the same age (as Borini was two years ago). They've spent £10m on their own version of Shola.

Hugely underwhelming. They've now spent three transfer windows chasing a player who spent the entire of last season warming a bench at a team that's only about 10 places better than they are. Good for them if they're happy about it, I guess...

Seriously? Man Utd are one of the highest budget, slow motion train crashes imaginable. What on earth are they even doing anymore? There's no team building, just money being thrown at problems.

I'm fairly happy with the transfer business we've done, but we've not really seen them play properly yet. It's been mostly backs to the wall kind of shit (largely due to being reduced to 10 men yesterday). We aren't going to set the league alight this year, that's for sure. But we're not going to end up in that utter clusterfuck that happened last year either. I'd take a left back at this point, but I think we're well stocked in strikers between Mitro, Perez and Cisse (and some of the forgotten...). Maybe Mitro and Cisse can take turns being suspended.

Well look, if you and a few others reckon Tiote can do a job then great. I think he's a liability. More than happy to be corrected by a few good performances whenever we're playing him next, but for now I'm pleased personally that he's not in the team.

You could pinpoint the moment when we lost control though - it was when Anita went off and he came on. Granted the 'team' lost, but Anita going off and him coming on was the catalyst for it.

Would agree on Sissoko in the centre and Perez out wide. Still wouldn't play Tiote. Just noticed Arsenal have Walcott up front. Walcott always fucking canes us... although Mbemba has probably been told to be all over him. Makes him a better choice than Taylor today, actually.

Perhaps I'm just thinking too short term in my memory, but Tiote gave away a penalty last week and allowed Southampton back into the game when we were 2-1 up in our first game (following Anita's injury). Maybe he's just lacking sharpness, but I don't think Anita or Colback are, even if they are limited players... Tiote is a huge risk against Arsenal.

Sorry but, what has Tiote done this season that makes people think he's any good? I don't think he's turned in a decent performance since Cabaye left...

Look - I was drinking last night and had a headache coming on before I even went to sleep. Stayed up another hour, had a pint and a half of water. Am now fine. I don't want to second guess the Dutch (cowards, etc), but either Dutch people aren't ingesting water properly, or there are some other factors at play.
