Fucking hell, MF really is a neanderthal. Every anecdote involves violence, fucking, puking or a combination of all three.

By my calculations, conservatively, that's $2000 tax money for every adult in the US. That's more than the cost of a McDonald's saver meal EVERY DAY. They are batshit.

Nice to know spongebob got there okay. 👍

Fucking hate Glastonbury nowadays like. So many reasons. And Rod Stewart man. Jesus. Reminds me of a time I went to this pub in Tenerife and the place was some weird shrine to him. I think Maggy May was canny and that's about it. The barman/owner started sweeping the floor pretending he was RS using the broom as a mike. Mind, that was 20 years ago, he may have had some life still in him then. Same with "I'm Dill Danding" Elton John.

But we got our sovereignty back. Stop complaining.

Aye, honestly this Labour party is pathetic, politically clueless.

What is wrong with ME? The nerve.

Not sure how I feel about this, a bit queasy tbh. You disgust me Gemmill.

Ah, right. I'll be honest and ignore all discussion about that no matter who from. I don't think these culture war subjects, wedge issues, have any place in politics. It's a big reason politics is failing imo.

Is still specifically about Bridgets comments? I read them in the Guardian and can't say I found anything to disagree on?

The EU is/was open borders as part of a Union bound by a common framework of values, beliefs, law, trade and shared competencies. It is a wonderful institution. And yes, the idea was to boost poorer nations like Poland, enriching us all ultimately as the market increased in size and value. And it worked, with Poland shortly surpassing us on GDP per capita. But this has to be done cautiously and incrementally. The next step after the balkans would l guess be Turkey. But that won't happen in anyone's lifetime on here. Because they do not have shared values, are not fully democratic, have very dubious human rights, and do not meet the required economic conditions. After that would be Russia, aye, right. We're never going to have any meaningful union with an African or Asian country, just isn't going to happen, for dozens of reasons. And anyway, taking their "healthy young workers" isn't doing those countries any favours. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting your country, whether by itself or part of Union, to be self sufficient in terms of its work requirements. The aim should be to invest in Africa so it can flourish, not rob it of its human wealth and all the attendant problems this causes. I realise as well of course that this is never happening either.

Honestly, watch it. He does a test dive and it's like pop................... pop...........pop..pop.pop.pop.popppppp. This is after the test model only reached half it's intended depth before being crushed like one of Homer's Duff cans. Stupid twat had built these sonic sensors which he just ignored. But you could physically hear the hull breaking. Really tense viewing even knowing g the end.

We live as nation states though. If you're arguing open borders then nah, I don't agree. We had the best arrangement with the EU with FoM. But the EU and UK needs to have external borders with the rest of the world and not allow unfettered economic migration from the developing world. It's not good for those countries either, us cream skimming their most educated people. Surely the best thing to do would be to pull up living standards in India and Africa? That will also decrease their own birth rate which is needed because of climate change etc.

Yeah, another rich, middle aged, white, narcissistic psychopath. Great film though. Didn't get what he deserved as he wouldn't even know it had happened. Feel sorry for the kid robbed of his life who, iirc, didn't even want to do it. Also, fucking leave the Titanic alone now you morbid grave diggers.

I'm fairly agnostic to whether it's a good thing or not tbh, but clearly a lot of people don't think it is which is leading to Reform etc. And I'm unsure how sustainable it is, surely a population should be approximately self replacing? Surely it's wrong young adults can't experience the joys (and misery) of parenthood due to barriers imposed so we just have immigration to fill the gaps? Of course the impact of AI remains to be seen. Fuck knows what the future holds tbh.

No idea, maybe his personality?

Declining birth rates are a huge issue, in fact, with climate change probably the biggest issue the west has. Not just the UK, in places like South Korea and Japan it's catastrophic. In the former, they have provided loads of incentives for people to have more kids to no avail. So it's not just financial, but this is undoubtedly important. Without indigenous young people, you need to import people from places like India and Africa to fill the gap. Over time this will undoubtedly change the demographic makeup of the country and cause issues we are witnessing today. So Bridget is probably right (frankly I can't be bothered to read what she says), but what's laughable is her thinking she can change things by just telling people what to do and without MASSIVELY incentivising having children. It's absolutely crippling financially in this country. The cost of childcare, food, clothes, education, holidays. All the while the strain of it sets you back in your job as in my experience having children just isn't recognised as something that needs to be worked around. I also spent a decade so focused on the needs of my kids I kind of just let my career trundle on, not wanting more stress through responsibility. Only now trying to change that. Sorry you feel the way you do about the UK, but most is down to 14 years of the last lot. We'll struggle to fix that now, maybe it's not possible. But on this issue, it's not UK specific. It's affecting the entire "first" world.

Watching that Olivia Rodridgo lass with my now teenage daughter. "At least she's easy on the eye" I say. "Paedo" says she. FML I feel old.

Honestly, so you should. I don't fear death, sweet, sweet death, I fear falling to bits.

Could be worse. My mate has to use intermittent catheters every time to empty his bladder for the foreseeable.

So, can anyone bring me up to date on who the mackems have signed? They've gone from being pragmatic realising relegation is most likely, to having absolute belief they will be top half of the Premier league next season? This is pretty universal amongst them. A couple of signings mentioned I havent heard of, googled them, and still 🤷♂️. I guess we're at the south end of the mackem boom bust cycle currently.

Just been for a lovely walk in Tynemouth. Didn't see any Mag tops at all. I did see one person in SAFC merch*. They're easy to spot and hear as people step apart and clap. Just like those MLF weirdos, I photomugged him outside the Gib as evidence. He didn't seem to mind, * All true until this point.

Mine was a mere 7 years old. My old blueyonder from Virgin. When I left they closed my email account and IT'S STILL CAUSING ME ISSUES NOW. CUNTS.
