  1. Do you have a Wideopen or a Longbenton? etc.
  2. This should be the signal both the main parties need to abandon this shit, but they won't.
  3. They need to go down like, they've been hanging on longer than Bob Hope did
  4. I wasn't aware of the latest sponsorship deals I must admit. I was at SJP when Heaton Stannington won it in (I think) 1998 though. The Milburn Stand hadn't long since been opened (that was the only part of the ground that was) so it must have been around about then. Edit: I mean 1988-ish
  5. I have massive debts, I have the best debts
  6. Well you don't want to go getting it confused with the Northumberland Minor Cup, do you?
  7. That's the Northumberland Senior Cup to you, Dave. Call yourself a football hipster anarl?
  8. Wouldn't surprise me at all if most of it is driven by Rafa himself

  12. The Tyson doc you mean? That was a difficult watch but really good.
  13. There's always someone worse off than you has to be one of the least comforting things anyone can say to you though, in fairness
  14. I can't even work out how one would go about it but Chez was adamant you shouldn't knock it until you've tried it
  15. Used to go on this (now defunct) techno/electronic music forum called 'Little Detroit. Great anecdote, I know. Anyway, there was a Leeds fan on there who was spot on with the exception of when anything football related was discussed. He mentioned on more than one occasion how funny it was that we'd just been relegated (the time before this one). He also seemed to view Leeds as a massive club and saw the likes of Man Utd as being their rivals. This was despite their having just failed to get promoted via the playoffs from the third tier of English football. Like I say he seemed a decent enough kid but he also seemed to sum up the mentality of a lot of Leeds fans.
  16. The stuff about his hands reminds me of Jack Kelly in Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
  17. Good Tyson article here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/38050519 Whatever you think of the man (and the boxer in the latter part of his career) he was like a force of nature in the early days.
