Another question. Was it literally off the back of it? 🤔 🤮 -
Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

And he wasn't even trying. -
I could be wrong, having only seen it played back once, but I think that's before the ball is played. Evans and or Jones, shifts his/their body after this and plays him onside.

Villa were always the most likely to do us a favour out of Liverpool's remaining fixtures. The problem is that they've only lost once at home all season. Then again even a draw would be a great result. Win against Brighton and I'll be very confident that we'll manage at least three out of Leicester and Chelsea. Draw or lose against Brighton and it will be proper squeaky bum time.
-
In fairness I think when Salah plays the ball for the second goal Evans pulls his foot back and plays him onside. On the other hand I'd be very surprised if we got such a tight call in our favour if it were against any of the so called top six.

You would hope it was said at least in half jest, but who the fuck knows anymore.

😂 Gundogan who if he leaves Man City will be one of the top free agents in the world, and who will likely be on 200,000 k a week at the very least, if not much more given his free agent status, would apparently "do a job" for the lads.

Chelsea are supposedly back to being oddly static and lifeless after their win the other week. I'd still rather we didn't need anything from our game against them for obvious reasons, but also, away to Stamford Bridge on the last day would be exactly the time something would click for them. But perhaps that's just my Ashley era pessimism, pamper wearing, non sausage waving attitude getting the best of me.

You have to give some credit to the annoying anti football that Big Sham plays. It's effective at annoying opposition players to distraction. That being said too many of our players had an off day. We of course weren't helped by a ridiculous deflection which seems to be par for the course in terms of the luck that Big Sham enjoys. It could still be a decent week for us depending on results today and Monday night, and even if those results don't go for us we have a chance with our home game on Thursday to leave ourselves only needing two points from two game.

As someone said in the comments if you're looking for a post win GIF this should do the job 😂

Pretty cringe given it's Americans interviewing Howe, but it's probably just about worth a watch.
-
I will refrain from referring to him as Fat Sham for a period of one week, and will until that time refer to him as merely Big Sham.
-
This is actually pretty funny in fairness.

The original article seems to be a lighthearted one as Gemmill has pointed out, but where I seen it was on Twitter as a screen shot where opposition fans were actually taking it seriously 😂

Has anyone told them that the ship has sailed on that perception. Perhaps back to Spain 😉👍

Apparently someone has been compiling a list of Tindall's "crimes" this season. Not rattled at all these lads.

Apparently Guler will only cost 5m if he fails to play something like another 300 minutes of football this season. Fenerbahce have another 5 league games so he could easily exceed that stipulation and then his buy out clause goes up to 20m iirc.

As I've said before I'm probably more excited for Ashworth finding a hidden gem comparable to Mitoma, Mac Allister etc at Brighton than I am about us paying 40m+ on a player. Although if you listen to some Brighton fans they'll tell you that Ashworth had little to do with them bringing said players in, and it was down to the recommendations of their scouting network/head scout. I'd imagine that's mostly sour grapes and the truth lies somewhere in the middle. At the end of the day it was Ashworth who created said scouting network and who had to sign off on said recommendations.
