  1. Apparently we tried to change the terms when he was at the training ground and they’ve told us to fuck off You couldn’t make it up
  2. Young, high potential players in excellent form bad, old journeymen on the way down good is the new train of thought, I see
  3. None of Wraith's walk-on roles have been anywhere as good as Nile Ranger's against Arsenal in the 4-4
  4. Lots of talk about him being quick and strong but not a word about if he can actually do anything with the ball. Can't wait.
  5. If we all think the word “ban”, Ant might wake up in the middle of the night, feeling like he’s on a calling from God and do it
  6. Looks like Kamara is getting bumped out as well Every time I've seen him, he's looked like a good impact sub. At the very least, he's a presence with pace to match, unlike the kid they spent 20 million on.
  7. I'm taking all these links with a massive pinch of salt considering what I've heard about Rafa and Charnley's relationship recently and what that's meant with the scouting meetings. Not to be dropping ITK bait or owt but unless those talks with Ashley went somewhere on Saturday, I wouldn't be expecting much unless they pay daft money for Almiron.
  8. In a, now deleted, tweet, it seems that Willie McKay, he of Boumsong and Amdy Faye fame, was responsible for booking the plane arrangements and also brokered the transfer.
  9. Grigg will probably be a decent replacement but aye, he's been found out a level above and at least Maja is a player who would improve and could theoretically do well in the Championship
  10. Aye, I'd have been off and straight to Le Bar after the first fuck-up
  11. In lighter news, Cardiff's new record signing may have been on a plane that went missing over the Channel last night. Luckily, I'm seeing the funny side
  12. Longstaff went there and came back the new Michael Carrick off the back of 3 half-decent games so I look forward to this kid coming back as the next Shearer.
  13. Just ban the fat, speccy minge and be done with it
  14. His stupidity rearing its head there. Mitrovic, obviously. If he had got sent off there (and it was a possibility), that would have left his side in the lurch in the middle of a relegation battle. He's a liability when the chips are down.
  15. I must say, I'm interested to see how he's going to flog Dunlop shorts in HMV.
  16. Just quoting this because, as mad as it seems, that's the reality they're living in and it's hilarious
  17. With the way Fulham played up until their goal, I'd fancy us to, at least, land some good punches on Spurs. Providing Sissoko doesn't come back to have the performance of his career.
  18. You’ve got to fancy Cardiff for the drop based on that, regardless of whether or not this striker they’re getting is any good or not. Dubravka could have ran a BBQ in his 6 yard box for how much he had to do. Some excellent blocks from our lads but Cardiff looked completely out of ideas as soon as we scored. Longstaff looked decent, as you’d hope against that shower of shit but he’ll take a load of confidence from that kind of performance. Rondon is a complete tank; Bamba was powerless to resist and I loved him taking the piss with the stepovers before the assist for Perez He had them beaten all ends up and he knew it. Not sure we were particularly good but it was a result we needed going into the next few games. Hopefully we can knock Watford out of the cup to keep some positive momentum going into the Man City game but if not, this gives me some hope that we’ll be able to win the important home games that are coming up
  19. Think the only way he could have an impact in the first team is if he was coming on as we were in control, with most of the possession, late on, against a side sitting deep and alongside another striker. As said, it would basically allow him to be a pest and potentially mop up in a scramble
