Sunderland v Newcastle 20/08/2011 prediction

I doubt anybody outside the NE has any idea who the mackems are. Or cares. -
* Snigger * Of course it won't be Hippo Head's fault.

Reckon you'll win it? It's yours to lose. I honestly think this time you won't fuck it up. If by 'yours' you mean the All Blacks, then yes. The best team in the world imo but it's well known they choke on the big occasion. So the question is whether home advantage inspires them or provokes big occasion choke. Personally I think this time around they'll do it if McCaw and Carter stay fit, they have a very talented and experienced side and a very strong subs bench too. I'm English by the way. So I'll be supporting both the English and ABs for as long as they are in the tournament. I'd be happy if either won but especially the ABs as I live here and the place will be a fucking morgue if they don't

Lyon president confirms £6.6million bid for Cissokho rejected
Kitman replied to Flair's topic in Newcastle Forum
Sounds like our offer is a million miles away from their valuation basically. At least we've made an offer, which is an essential part of any negotiation. The question is whether this is posturing on Lyon's part or we're not credible bidders. -
To be fair he's adapted quite well. Our African free transfer Jumbo Katanga Kak Pants Jr is not doing so well though

CT whichever way you slice it by the looks of it we 've lost a PL hardened quality player at the peak of his poweres who cares about the club. For NOTHING. There's no upside to this. Getting in Jean Claude Floot de Ponce-Ponce from some French club who hasn't a clue about English footy isn't going to compensate us in the short term. We've now let half our first team go from last season. It's madness. We'd be better off running down his contract, it's pure spite and stupidity imo.
-
Speechless at this. Our player of the season to QPR for nothing? Ye Gods!

Congrats

It's going to mega here. Really looking forward to it.

Think we concentrated more on the LB and striker we were going to bring in (100%) last week. Still no idea what's going on, 100%.

On the last day of the window with no time to replace .... Bingo!

Only an idiot would sell Coloccini. Draw your own conclusions.....

I think we're OOCs . How come you moved to NZ? Am sure you've said it before but I've forgotten, was it lass, work or both? Got the chance to go there with my job. The missus and I really fancied living overseas at the time so we went for it & emigrated. The kids were young enough to get away with it. Love it here and the only drawback is the distance from home.
-
When I lived in the UK Nearest Reading FC 10.06 miles NUFC 239.18 miles Now I'm about as OOT from Newcastle as you can get......
-
Might do better than that Kean bloke

I'm not a fan of beards. I associate them with tree hugging sandal wearers, the sort who drink real ale and make their own compost. They are likely to have pot bellies and stick thin legs, and own a tankard. On the other hand, if you look like Brian Blessed, own a roaring laugh, are built like a brick shithouse and can remove a man's teeth by slapping him on the back, then a beard looks OK.
