It isn't really, he's not playing well. When he isn't scoring he doesn't offer enough. He's never going to put the yards in that Gordon does, so he needs to be scoring to justify it. Last season he did that. So far this season, he isn't. I think I've seen one decent ball in from him and that one great bit of play against Wolves where he skied the shot - the rest has been pretty poor by his standards. That "when" ought to be an "if". The longer he goes without doing the one thing he's good at the harder it's going to be to get it back.

Hall needs to come in. I get he's on the come back from injury but he's barely getting a sniff from Howe. I know Tino and Trips have been magnificent so far, but Trips is getting on and seems to break down with cramp most games.
