Yes and no Alex. He intentionally swung his foot at it, probably more in hope that the ball would end up in front of him as it was a shit pass back to him. He even said so in the post game interview. But Riley has been great the last couple of weeks, scored a hat trick the game before, so you have to give him credit for trying just to get something on it.

Mmm, what's this mean then? I seen that on a couple of different sites now? As I think I've mentioned before it's like rocking horse shite here in the antipodes but I recently found some so bought a bottle, now I just have to be able to drink it!!!

Button mushrooms are quite fiddly to grasp.

Yeah, true and that is obviously being reflected in the way wines are being made now. But not 15 years ago when they first started using screw tops. Alex we've got this great place we go and they have an amazing wine list where the owner has bought and cellared wines for the last 30 plus years. Last time we were there we had something from 1998 with a cork and then the owner decided to share a screw top from 2002, both from SA, both similar blends and price but it was a real eye opener to how much younger the screw top wine was. The owner also mentioned because of this people aren't buying/drinking the older screw top wines Most decent spirits use corks as well, so that wouldn't help with evaporation. Talking about whisky, did I read correctly that Blair Athol is no longer being released as part of Diageo's Flora and Fauna range?

I was talking to someone who works in the wine industry about this the other day regarding wines changing/maturing with time. With a cork because it breathes older wines will change colour, nose and palete. But now the first of the decent screw top wines are reaching the 15-20 years of age, they are finding there is less change to the wine, they are staying young longer.

You cannot play a right handed guitar, so you're wrong on two counts. -

Boom, loss guaranteed now. -
@Dr Gloom time for you to hit your itk guy up. With the club safe from relegation Mandy should be making moves again if they are serious.

What a great music clip. The second half was bugging the hell out of me because it looks like it is played in reversed, which it is. There is a very clever edit around 2'32" and the set is animated/motion graphics. No clever videos but some great post-rock.

Mitro will be pleased for you but possibly a case of wrong thread.

I was in a secondhand record shop, basically an all but abandoned warehouse over Manly way and they had it playing, $35 well spent. Alex this is it. More from it.

Any more from your source Gloomy? -
FFS, 20 quid is nothing, Shame cost the equivalant of that to see them here. It costs a lot for small artist to tour internationally. These poor fuckers deserve to make enough to survive, it's not like they're Radiohead or worse, Coldplay and making millions. I'd hazard a guess Ty Segall barely makes the average wage. Only when Erika whatsherface jumps out of a cake.
-
Jonny, the venue was small, a couple of hundred people and the singer spent as much time in the audience as he did on stage. Good to hear Mogwai are on form. I see Ty Segall is playing the Boiler Shop in Newcastle in June, he's great live and worth the effort.

That was the plan but to an original style vibromatic, just like you should have.

Scott will enjoy this. I have an opportunity to buy either a cheap Johnny Marr Jaguar in black or an American made 50th Anniversary thin skin Jaguar in burgundy, both are secondhand. Thing is my preference is to buy/build black guitars but I prefer the block and binding neck which the 50th Anniversary has (as well as the original bridge and standard pickups which I also prefer). But the Marr is blacker than satan's heart. They both the same price and I can't afford both, before anyone suggests that.

Saw Shame on Wednesday night, great live well worth the effort. Protomartyr next Friday, Cloud Nothings the week after, then in March Mogwai, BRMC, PWEI, The Aints (Ed Kuepper doing his Saints material) and some other stuff.

Rafa's resurgent willy wavers vs moaning Mourinho's mancs

The steam off our shite would have more of a backbone anarl. He and Bellamy are there to perpetuate the NUFC cliques, there can be no other reason as neither offer insight or intellect.
