Also I think he stripped so many physical assets out of the club's ownership (and into MASH) and run the playing squad down so much, that any buyer knows that they are going to need a lot of investment over and above his ridiculous asking price. He's painted the club into a corner with his greed and ignorance and once a buyer does due diligence they will tell him to fuck off. Trooper, this has been obvious since day one, I think even the cunt that got us into this situation, John Hall, said it in an interview after he sold the club from under fat Freddy but it's not the only reason why Ashley won't invest, that's purely because the man is a cunt.

Wasn't there are rumour that there was a penalty clause in Rafa's contract if he quits. Besides the fans it's the only plausible reason he hasn't left considering the lack of respect Ashley repeatedly shows him.

Alex we've got this great place we go and they have an amazing wine list where the owner has bought and cellared wines for the last 30 plus years. Last time we were there we had something from 1998 with a cork and then the owner decided to share a screw top from 2002, both from SA, both similar blends and price but it was a real eye opener to how much younger the screw top wine was. The owner also mentioned because of this people aren't buying/drinking the older screw top wines Most decent spirits use corks as well, so that wouldn't help with evaporation. I was talking to someone who works in the wine industry about this the other day regarding wines changing/maturing with time. With a cork because it breathes older wines will change colour, nose and palete. But now the first of the decent screw top wines are reaching the 15-20 years of age, they are finding there is less change to the wine, they are staying young longer.

What a great music clip. The second half was bugging the hell out of me because it looks like it is played in reversed, which it is. There is a very clever edit around 2'32" and the set is animated/motion graphics. No clever videos but some great post-rock.
