This just seems a crazy decision from Milner. It's the day after he played superbly and gained lots of praise from fans and all of a sudden he wants out. Anyone else a little mystified by this? Probably been egged on by his agent.

He played far better tonight than he has for a while, much like he does for the U-21s, which is also against inferior opposition. He's not a winger though as he's awful out wide. He had nowhere near the same impact when he moved back there tonight. He doesn't look like a winger to me. He looks like a central attacking midfielder. He was central tonight and put in the sort of performance we'd be pleased with from anyone there. I'm hoping he gets played there more often as he is wasted out wide and we have better wingers anyway.

It's hardly tragic that the club hasn't received £2.4 million is it? I can think of worse things for the club than Ameobi still being here and he's probably more use up front than Smith/Carroll. The fact he's scored plenty in the past kind of suggests that to me.

Looking at his old posts there, it appears he apologised for not posting for a few months. Well this is unacceptable. I think all the members of Toontastic deserve a much bigger apology for not posting for two years.

I reckon Owen's one of the best headers of the ball around. He may not be tall or as powerful as some, but his technique is spot on and he consistently hits the target.
