I'm going to stick my neck out and say that I don't think Rooney's half as stupid as people think. I actually think he can be surprisingly eloquent at times. He says "ehmmm" a lot and has no GCSEs but he can still provide better interviews than most English footballers.

The problem stems from the fact he is implying their race is the main reason for the crime and not the poverty, as NJS said. There's also this "gangsta" culture associated with black yoof, but I'm pretty sure that's the same with all races/ethnicities.

Since Keegan first time round we've only had one manager who has completed more than one full season in charge. And only one other manager to complete one full season.
