1. Can't believe it's 10 years since I was in this postion.... For those of you who are worried about not getting to University, hope this helps... I ended up with an E and 2 U's and still got into the University of my choice - how? Went down the pub with mates, got bladdered and used the alcohol to aid my persuasive attitude with the Uni. (Also took a foundation year which effectively gave me an extra year of student life). My point is, even if you don't get what you hope for, you may still end up with the same or even better result in the long run... Best of luck
2. Added to the camp hands-on-hip pose...... 14048 Yep, it's young Daniel down to a tee! Now who's gonna be Plug?

Hi there

Shouldn't you have a great big Pooh bear image as your avatar?

5. 5 years ago I really rated him, had an awesome shot on him - but he went pairs along with Leeds IMO...
6. I tend to break inanimate objects when I'm pushed to my limits. I've had to replace: Kitchen bin (put my fist through the lid) Iron (smashed it down on the ironing board and the element dropped out) 2 internal doors (put my bare foot through both) Countless other things I can't remember..... Anger management? Me?? Nah, I don't need it - it's already 'channeled'!
7. I totally agree with Luke IF this leaked report is genuine.... Sadly, I think we'll never truly know
8. Just updated from .COM....
9. Nice omission of two people..... Take it I'm still not welcome at Newcastle-Online?
10. Some of them have made the trip - Ritchie's trying to see if we can find some of the others...
11. With regards to 'the bitter Everton fans' we're making a concerted effort to make ALL visiting supporters welcome here, that includes the Everton fans in the run up to the games we have with them. I know we've had our differences with them over the summer when we were on Newcastle-Online but I ask all members to please put that behind them and move on. I personally would like this place to be known as a welcoming Newcastle United forum (the member badges are one touch to help achieve that). Please make all visiting fans as welcome as any of the regulars.

Exactly that... If you hover over the name it will tell you if they are reading (normal font) or replying (italic font)...
13. It's the google web spider. What it's doing is sifting through the threads on the forum so that it can build up a search profile for the google search engine. Therefore if in a couple of weeks, you opened Google and searched for "That bloody Robot!", it would return a link to this thread in it's search results. By default, the software is set to show the spider being visible and I decided to leave it like that for the time being so that we knew when it had started 'looking around'. I can make it invisible if its freaking people out though...
14. Big Brother winner Anthony today revealed he has invested his £50,000 winnnings in a bag full of 'magic beans' offered to him by a mysterious stranger. "I had a bit of a think about it and I think they're all reet," he told reporters. "Now I've got meself these magic beans, I'm gonna be rich beyond ma wildest dreams. It's off the scale... and I'm definitely not gey, like." The hunky Geordie dancer was approached after the Big Brother celebratory party by a hooded figure who offfered him untold riches if he were to "purchase these amazing magic beans, you get me?" and is believed to have struck a deal on the spot. Dermot O'Leary was not available for comment.
15. Nah seriously, who's in it? 12482 I have no idea alex. All i saw were one or two trailors, it appeared to be about cheating on a parner, deception, that kind of film. Along the lines of Fatal attraction 12486 As I gather, it's a little difficlult without knowing any of the cast though. Have you tried google? 12489 IS IT Fatal Attraction??
16. I see you're back to your old ways of condensing all the posts previously made in the thread into one sentence. 12438 I see you're back to your condescending best
17. I feel another lengendary Toontastic comment has been born...!
18. The Untouchables - one of my all-time favourites...
19. Could argue its just made him more saleable as he doesn't have a ban on his shoulders now!
20. Makes the daft sods on MOTD2 last night look a tad stupid! What was it all three of them said? "The referee got it spot on, Graeme Souness can have no complaints, 3 of the 4 refereeing decisions this weekend (Ambrose, Dickov & Jenas) were spot on" Oh dear, who's got egg on their faces now! (I wonder how much Henry's public comment that Jenas should not have been sent of weighed on the mind of Steve Bennett? - Guess that levels it up for when Alan Shearer got him out of the shit a few years back)
21. Off the top of my head, a couple of seasons back when we were playing Charlton at home and Laurent Robert went to ground like he'd been shot and somehow we got a penalty... I seem to remember the concensus on toon-chat was that "other teams get away with it so why shouldn't we", I remember I was fucking livid that one of our players resorted to that carry on but I was in the minority... For the record, my views on yesterday's decisions: 1. Jenas was reckless and clumsy, he tackled late from behind which is a cautionable offence - it is not IMO, a red card offence. The important point to remember is that he issued a straight red, if it had been a second yellow then I could have seen some justification. That being said, if it had been the other way, we'd have been screaming for their player to be sent off, and how the fuck did that ogre (Senderos) survive?? 2. It was a penalty IMO. N'Zogbia was behind the player, wrapped one leg around him and also had a hand on his shoulder. He was never in a million years going to get that ball and he didn't. You can't go lunging in the box like that as penalties will be given. Inexperience on his part and he will learn from it. Again, if it had been the other end of the pitch, I doubt many of you would have thought it was unjustified.... 12238 Ljundberg was fouled by the ground. Even my Arsenal fan mate admitted that 12250 Yeah I agree with that too - the problem I find is that he made a challenge in a stupid place and if he had made contact, then it would have been player not ball and a penalty would have been the result... Like I said, if it had been at the other end we'd have gone fucking loopy had it not been awarded.
