link [couldnt find a big enough shocked face smiley to go here] When you consider the state the club was in when SJH took over and how he left it when he stepped aside in December 1996, I don't begrudge him a penny of that. He truly did save NUFC. His only mistake was leaving it in the hands of his bumbling fool of a son and his overweight best mate.

It's plenty enough money IMO. What has got us into the state we are is not lack of funds, it's poor management decisions from the Manager all the way up! Money has been made available to us and we've wasted it. Rather than piss him off by telling him he should stay loyal and commit himself to the club, we should be using Michael Owen as a bargaining tool for signing quality players. How many over the years joined us excited by the idea of playing alongside Alan Shearer?

What a fucking joke that paper truly is.

Reading that article leaves me with one question: What has John Hall done in the past to piss Bob Cass off? I don't believe for one minute that Freddy was a puppet in the sacking of SBR - no bloody way!

Cristiano Ronaldo perhaps?

That's what made me chuckle with that 'fan's view' video that the chronicle had on their website. Nearly everyone they questioned said something along the lines of "it'll be nice to have some money to spend".... FFS, money has never been the problem and we've spent around £70m in the last 3 years. The thing that DOES need to be erradicated is the diabolical timing of managment decisions that Shepherd made and the unprofessional comments made to the press - the Owen thing only last week was the latest in a very long line. THAT is what I think will be the advantage of having someone else at the helm.

Sold because of a divorce. Jesus fucking wept!

Normally Fn + F8 or Fn + F4...

Source? Common sense? I said this somewhere else. Mourinho has been told he has to sell to buy. Abrahmovic wants Chelsea proftable by 2010 The grand plan was to have them self sufficient by 1st July 2008. Unless they win the Champions League next season, they haven't got a prayer. They did some cracking sponsorship work (Adidas & Samsung) but the Ashley Cole saga cost them.

He'll be off to Lyon I reckon.....

Ones that 5 minutes into the game decide they need a piss, come back and then 10 minutes later decide they're hungry. And they always seem to be the ones who sit the furthest away from the aisles too! Also grates me they way they stop moving when something's happening on the pitch so the people in the row behind have to stand up because the people in front of them have stood up to let the twat out who's not moving. Get your pies, your beer and take a piss before the game or at half time!

I dunno, I've not tried it! I'm just passing the info on I'm guessing the heat will blend it into the fabric and make it a bit like starch.

Ironing is a 2 handed affair if you're gonna get a decent result, learnt it all in the army. Didn't learn much then. Turn your shirt inside out, put a line of Pritt Stick along where you want the crease in whatever it is your ironing, turn it the right way out and iron over it once - perfect result Pritt Stick?! I actually love ironing shirts I think I've got a touch of OCD when it comes to bed-making and shirt-ironing. They have to be perfect. Apparently so - one of the blokes who works here is ex-army and he said it's a well known trick for getting the perfect crease in the sleeve. Using a bar of soap or a wax candle is supposed to have a similar effect - just make sure it's run on the inside of the shirt Asked my Dad about it (he did National Service) and he said they always used the bar of soap trick...

You sure about that comment Dave?

I doubt very much that'll happen. As Ashley has nearly 42%, there's only 58% remaining. We can pretty much guarantee from public opinion and the poll in the Chronicle that the fans, who have 8% are not going to be backing Shepherd and he'd almost certainly need some of their support.
-
Whatever happens, Shepherd is going to lose control of the club and have no influence on its progression. The way I see it is it's not going to be a case of Shepherd or Ashley running the club, it's a case of Ashley running it as a private or a public company. This is one battle Mr Shepherd is never going to win.

Gudjohnsen would be an absolutely awesome purchase. We've got a connection now as well as he played for Allardyce when he was at Bolton didn't he??

Ashley could take Toon control without Freddy's support

We need this pushing through ASAP. When Abramovich bought Chelsea, it completed on 1st July and they had the whole summer to sort the team out. Shepherd's got 4 weeks to sell up, then it's time to make the bastard sell -
Freddy...if you're reading...do the decent thing and sell up...

The value of his shares will diminish and it's something I can't see him putting up with for long. -

Why the essay? A simple "fuck off" would suffice... Shepherd: Flock off ? baaaaaaaaa! Ewe need to try harder...
