And running a football club is easy anyway, not only successfull but also on a profit for the benefit of its members. I'm sure the likes of Ashley, Bates, Ridsdale, Gillette et al will agree.

He's absolutely leaving in a dream land. He's also no clue about continental club structures and law of associations and how it works. His comparisons to a club like Barcelona who got founded as a social club are not even idealistic, they are just simplistic. He just likes his idea and therefore thinks he is right. What a spanner.

I'll get my camera on stand by for the telly shots... I guess the club is going to get bought by a consortium led by Brett Emerton.

Press conference at 3pm etc. etc.

Strange "other game" you are talking about, Tom.

Well, there are direct quotes from Llambiarse though. I do find all of this totally bizarre tbh. They let the season finish enter into intense talks with Shearer about what is to be done in the future only to decide they can't be bothered and want to get out of it as quick as possible. That's fickle numptyness beyond imagination but does nicely sum up their entire stint at the club.

Some sanity in the thread at last. It could have done with the OT... So far nobody really knows about what is going to happen, but it is fairly unparkylike to create doommongering scenarios. Though, looking at his track record everything will be fantastic within a few days.....

If Ashley said he was committed to putting more money in then that would be true. The club is currently costing about 20m every 3 months to run, even if we halve that without PL money it will still be dodgy for us. If you did a bit of research you'd see even selling ALL the players will make very little difference as we still owe money on the big ones like Oba and Colo. We're getting nothing from Viduka, Owen, Butt, Cacapa etc.... Though, both insolvency law as well as the financial state of the club are much more complex than you are trying to imply. You make it look as if the threat of liquidation is imminent even though it is not even clear if the club really is insolvent and therefore entitled to apply for administration and the need of protection from creditors. Alternatively we can also talk about the possibility of the club getting taken over by aliens. What is probably more your field of knowledge.
-
Tbh the gibberish from Parky about administration sounds like a blind man talking about colours.

Well, he's definitely on an IQ of 90 points...

Don't know if this has been posted before, but surely this was a new level of sadess? Totally unrelated, but I use Firefox with the Flagfox-application where you can see a website's server location. So, the website of the S*n is hosted on a FRENCH server.

Drug dealing illegal Mexican immigrants don't count...

Maybe Oba can spot the difference himself...

They're all desperate cunts my age to 50, with the odd mackem wank thrown in, they're mouthy as fuck on there, they all meet up for a beer and are meek as fuck by several accounts. They won't let me register. Wonder if they remember me from the last time my alter-ego ran amock on there..... Looking at the number of mistakes Parky always does when he uses foreign words I think he is responsible for the famous boycoutt-banner [/Clouseau]

Don't worry, I don't rate us so that high either! I think over the last 40 years, dutch players have been far more talented than germans, yeah you've had Muller, Matthaus, and Sammer, but overall Holland have had better players, but your mentality is the best in the world. You make 100% of what you are cos there are never no nerves, and Holland like England are bottlers, that is the reason you always have a chance. I'm a big fan of the Dutch football philosophy. Crujiff is my hero. I really think football is not about winning but about how you play. Maybe it's a bit rich coming from soneone witnessing (from the national aspect) his side winning both world and European cups. But I dpn't bother. Sometime's it's that I more enjoyed pointless results and good football than necessary drawsa against better teams. It should be about art, entertainement and to please the fans. Football is a game to enjoc people, that's why it should get played this way!!!!!!!

Your side is good enough to beat the krauts, I remember when Isegrim said only 3 England players would get in the kraut side last summer Hand on heart I wouldn't have one of them, they're functional but ultimately shit. Well done on qualifying, and lets hope we share a group with the krauts and USA, that would be tremendous, knocking two cuntish countries out and you could come second. Unfortunately you don't remember apologising for suggesting I said it the last time. It doesn't get any more true by repeating it (and decrease the number of England players every time)... http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...st&p=549745

BTW - I have nothing against Australia, I just couldn't stand Craig Moore.

What comment did I make?

Ah, the good old myth of having been "too good for the team". He's been gash himself for the majority of the time here. You can't blame the inaptitude of his team mates for his crucial misses and his lack of a brain in general.
-
Exactly. As good as someone over at Numpties-Online saying that most of our players would have done wonderful with better team mate. So yeah, if half the quad are capable of playing at a top team then it shouldn't be exptected to much to show the attributes necessary for playing at the highest level. But this is something nearly no player ever dd (an will do).

Unlucky.
