I dont necessarily think Shearer would be a great manager. Im not saying he wouldnt either. Thing is, no one, not even Shearer know the answer to that. All I would say is that he would lift the fans and team/club. How long would that last though? Probably until the first defeat. So, west brom then After that, I do think he (and Dowie?) could do a decent job. I dont think any expects miracles. But I do think he could get us out of the championship (though each day that goes by I think that chance drops). Main point though, what other options do we have? People are hardly going to be breaking the door down to get the role...

My expectation is now so low and my gauge on what MA is likely to do, that I expect the club to go into Administration. However, there is no benefit that I can see for MA to do that. He'd be better off selling and cutting his losses. That said, I think he doesnt give a fuck about the effect on the club of his actions and it wouldnt surprise me to see us with a squad of 10 players.

Wasnt it about 6k or something? Im one of the three season people. If I wasnt, I know exactly where Id stand. I would get a season ticket for the next year, however there is no way Id have parted with my money yet. I would not want one penny of my money going into that club while that fucking wanker is involved. Nothing. So, Id be waiting until the last minute before renewing in the hope he'd get his act together and sell the club.

Well, fair enough really. Not his fault he was offered the deal he was to come. Though I dont accept that the players should not take a portion of blame for the relegation. I do agree though that the on going management changes throughout the season would also have been part of it. If the club didnt give players a relegation clause, thats not really the players fault either. So no, I dont expect any player to take a salary cut. I would expect some to move to play on a bigger stage but for less money (if it was all about the football) or stay (if it was clearly all about the money). shite circumstance that comes down to foolish contract negotiation.

Nah, Black Friars is still one of my favourite restaurants like. Never had an issue when Ive been there. That and the one over the swing bridge, cant recall its name, opposite buffalo's. Outside of the centre I used to like Amici in Forest Hall though thats now been replaced by Valentio in my very own Lanchester. Cracking little Italian. There's a nice place in town down on collingwood street, again, cant recall its name but its on the left hand side as you walk towards mosley st.

I really can see us going into the season with no change in ownership. Not only that, but when that happens I think MA will continue to be completely uninterested. We'll be lucky to appoint a manager as that would cost. I think there will be no additional overheads, players leaving to reduce the wage bill but even that will be difficult as no one wants to pay their wages so instead they will remain "loyal to nufc to help take us up" while keeping their high salary (note the sarcasm..). I see no players coming in. Fuck me, Doooooomed I tell ya!
