If we could win the Premier League before I'm at the Pearly Gates asking St. Peter to turn a blind eye to my indiscretions and let me in, I could forgive the Devil himself.

If Carver had any smarts, he would just tweak todays line-up to face Spurs. As Janmaat has been doing alright as a central defender he should leave him there on Colo's return and drop Willo. Keep Raylor and Anita as the fullbacks. Wot d'ye think about this team? Mind you, Aarons, DeJong, & Dummett may be available. ..............................Krul. Raylor......janmaat.........Colo.......Anita. Cabella........Abeid......Colback....Jonas. .................Perez...... Armstrong

C'mon lads, it wasn't such a bad performance, in fact it was quite decent compared to some prior games. Had we played like that, and with line-up we would have buried Blunderland. Must credit Willo for their second goal. Sissoko was trying but he just couldn't pull anything off, losing too many balls. And now will miss the Spurs match. Anita did alright at full-back, actually better than Raylor. Perez again showed he can be a tricky little player but he is not a lone striker he needs a partner. Definitely should have had a penalty. Abeid did alright and shows promise. Good job Sterling was not on song, missing a couple of sitters.

Clueless Carver will no doubt remain clueless. Not looking forward to this one, form says it will be thumping.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
Noelie replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
I think the real question is.......do Palace have a more rounded team than we do and Pardew isn't faced with playing people out of position. I think he's just had to tweak the team a bit to get the wins which doesn't mean he's a good manager. His track record overall doesn't point to him being any better than mediocre. Blunderland were there to be slammed by anyone except us and Carvew!!- 10610 replies

I've had enough of his game-plan genius, Carver must GO!!

I looked at the bench Alex. I saw Abeid who I rate better than Gouffran. I saw Anita who I would prefer over Gouffran And I saw Armstrong who I would play before Riviere. .........................Krul. ..Anita...Janmaat.....Raylor...Jonas. .....Abeid........Sissoko.......Colback. .....Cabella....Perez....Sammy. I believe this is a better line-up than Carver's. I have my tin hat ready.

When I saw CC(clueless Carver) was starting Gouffran it was like an omen of doom. CC taking Gouffran off was like an admission he had fucked up. I can't recall ever seeing such a pathetic performance against Blunderland......,,,anyone for that matter. From the opening whistle we were on the back foot and stayed that way for most of the game. Where was the Arsenal second half team? Why didn't CC use Abeid? There is no doubt in my mind that my proposed line-up would have won today. Check it out. Willo's failure to win a high ball resulted in Defoes goal. There wasn't one sterling performance by a Newcastle player. Clueless Carver is just that........FUCKING CLUELESS.

Pure Misery!

My starting line-up would be; Wot d'ye think? ..............................Krul Anita.......Janmaat.........Raylor......Guitierez .........Abeid.........Sissoko........Colback ....Cabella..............Perez..............Ameobi Who dares, wins. I would drop Willo and try Anita at the back. I think Raylor has played in the centre before and I know Jonas has played full-back before. And I wouldn't wait until the last 20 minutes to make changes if things weren't going well,, Pardew and Carver were and are guilty of doing that.

He may be only 20 but he has a track record of sorts.......not to be proud of. Born in Jamaica. Came to London at age 5. Father murdered in Jamaica when he was aged 9. Had a daughter from a brief relationship when he was 18. Arrested twice for assaults on 2 different women. He's not telling the truth, it's all about money, you can't pay the rent with trophies. Loyalty to a Club usually comes from local lads but even then it can be swayed by money, ambition, ego,, and fame.

Nolberto Albino Solano Todco..........ah yes I remember him well.

Check out my earlier post which I have added to.

Gouffran should never have started. Gouffran should have been replaced at half time. Gouffran should not have played 90 minutes. Gouffran missed the shot that would have got us a point. We deserved a point from our second half performance. Cabella showed what he is capable of if he is not sitting on the bench. Willo was responsible for Giroud's second goal. Anita was not too bad,, Gouffran is the one Carver should have taken off. Don't think Sammy should have been taken off. Carver should have started Jonas not Gouffran. I guess you can see I have no time for Gouffran.

I can hardly wait to see what stroke of genius Carver will conjure up against Arse n'all. Here's what I would do under the current circumstances. Who dares, wins. ...................................Krul. Raylor......Janmaat..........Willo.......Jonas. Anita........Sissoko.......Colback Cabella.......Perez.......Sammy. I just wish there was someone other than Willo. If you will notice, Carver started 10 of the players I listed, Differences were he started Gouffran where Colback should have been, and put Colback left back where I think Jonas should have been. I think the result may have been different had Jonas started instead of Gouffran.
-
I think Willo will step up to the plate in the absence of Colo and prove that we have all been wrong about his ability as a Premier League central defender. I think he will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he belongs in a team like Liverpool. Ooops I meant Blackpool, always get the pools wrong.

Yanga Mbiwa left on Pardew's watch and that was understandable as there seemed to be a problem between the two and Pardew didn't give him a good run in his favoured position. And he has since shown it was a mistake to let him go. Santon leaves on Carver's watch but that's not understandable as there didn't seem to be any problem. Santon had been out injured for a spell and was on his way back to playing full time. He seemed happy enough in Newcastle, had a Geordie girlfriend with whom he'd had a bairn, so what the fuck happened there?

Water under the bridge I know, but this is the team I would have started with against Everton. I would have dropped Willo and not started Obertan, Gouffran, & Riviere, but then I'm not in the same league as Carver. Riviere is a no-good dud. Gouffran has faded beyond recognition. Obertan shone for a couple of outings then the light went out. ..........................Krul Janmaat.....Raylor.....Colo.....Jonas Anita...Sissoko...Colback...Ameobi. ............Perez.....Cabella. Going to be fucking interesting to see how Carver copes with the loss of Colo, and what idiotic starting line-up he will put out against Arsenal. I've thought about joining a group suicide club but I can't find a living soul.
-
Let's face it lads, Carver's starting line-up was a clear indication he hasn't a fucking clue in what to do with the players he has available. Red card for Colo weakens a defense that was piss poor weak to begin with. Riviere was useless. Obertan was useless. Gouffran was useless. All three should have been replaced at half-time. In reality neither of them should have even started. There is no enjoyment in watching abysmal performances when you know it could be done better if the right players available were used at the right time. Not looking forward to our next game, and certainly not looking forward to what Carver will conjure up.
-
Rumour has it that Pardew emailed the starting line-up to his clone Carver. Williamson + Obertan + Gouffran + Riviere starting = IDIOTIC TEAM SELECTION. Perez + Anita + Jonas + Cabella on the bench = IDIOTIC TEAM SELECTION. Carver + Stone as coaches = IDIOTIC.

Credit to Cisse for his quick apology and admission of guilt after the fracas with Evans, and the FA charges based on video evidence. It will probably show him in a better light after Evans' pathetic denial.
-
C'mon Carver show us your genius, put Chucky in to replace Cisse during his suspension.
-
Game was there to be won if only Riviere and Cisse hadn't missed two glorious chances, especially Cisse's. I expected to lose and then thought we were actually going to get a point if Gouffran and Abeid hadn't fucked-up at the end. Gouffran could have pushed it out for a corner and Abeid should have cleared it. Can't really fault Krul, he was trying to clear it but sadly went straight to Young. Too many mistakes, too much giving the ball away, and too many players not putting in a decent shift. Sissoko had another poor performance overall considering what he is capable of. Abeid did not do too well either, kept getting into difficult situations. Obertan .......... well it was Obertan wasn't it. There were times I didn't know he was there. Carver should have taken Obertan off instead of Ameobi, Sammy was contributing more to the game than Obertan. Sad ending to what looked like a valuable point was in the bag.

When interest turns to worry it bothers me. For today I'm not really interested in what the starting line-up will be, I'm more worried about who Carver will start in the face of all the injuries. Surely not Riviere again. If my fading memory is serving me, I seem to remember that Jonas had his best game ever for us in his first game against ManUre. I wonder if he'll get some game time today.
