Give Maggie credit for doing reasonably well against Argentina, which is more than can be said for Beckham and some other winless sods who pulled on an England shirt.

With his history of getting cards I would view Tiote as a penalty waiting to happen if he spent a lot of time in the box defending.

The ball was clearly bouncing into the box - Krul should have yelled for that at which point Williamson would have got well out of the way. Instead MW is looking towards Krul and getting nothing and gets to the point where he has to make a decision. Only then does Krul decide to move towards it. 100% Krul's fault - he's had a fantastic season but no-one is faultless. As shit as Williamson can be, you can't blame him for every single fuck up. If Williamson had not gently nodded the ball towards the West Brom scorer it might well have not resulted in a goal. Willo's fault.

Well my misgivings soon flew out the window with Cisse's first goal and it was obvious we weren't we weren't going to be foot-shot. As for the brighter side, looks like we were due a good game and got one. Too bad Willo gifted them a goal ....... hurry back Saylor, we need you. More magic from BenArfa, another great goal. Don't know why he was taken off. Stalwart Colo, hope he'll be fit for Liverpool. Perch put in a decent shift again as a utility player. Downside, Ba and Cisse don't seem to win many of the high balls that are hoofed up from the back. As for Pardoo, not sure Perch is a better option than Santoni at left back.

Hysterically speaking,......... must admit I have misgivings about this one based on the fact that other results are going in our favour and when that happens we historically shoot ourselves in the foot. On the brighter side, we're due to have a good game as we haven't had one for a while.

A WIN .... 3 POINTS ...... BRILLIANT ........but what a pathetic display!! We were very lucky to come out of that game with a win, Norwich were shite but we were a lot worse. Jonas at left-back and Perch at centre mid-field had the earmarks of what was to come, and come it did. Perch did alright but Jonas was repeatedly useless. Hoofing the long ball is not going to work with Ba or Cisse, niether one have great ball control and niether can hold the ball up. BenArfa was off the boil but mostly because he didn't get the service or support. As for Willo ................ say no more. As for Simmo .............. say no more. Guthrie put in a fair shift as did Cabaye. Shola posed a threat when he came on. I think Pardoo had his head up his arse for that match and it will be interesting to hear his comments.

More hysteria from you, no surprises there. It's my age sunshine. Obertan did alright for about half of the time he was on the pitch, and then went way downhill. Pardoo should be castrated ..........not just for starting Obertan but for leaving him on for 60 minutes. Obertan wasn't just a passenger, he was a fucking handicap. Shola higher in the pecking order than our 10 million quid striker Cisse???? Williamson's fault that Van Persie scored, he's just not good enough but who else do we have. For a moment I thought we might hang-on for a draw but I should know better, this is Newcastle. Simpson's not good enough either. Brilliant goal from BenArfa but sadly there wasn't much opportunity for him to parade his skills.

Way too much fault being directed at the referee for us dropping 2 points in a match we should have won easily in the 2nd half. He rightly gave them a penalty and they scored. He rightly gave us a penalty and we didn't. He may have made bad calls thoughout, but he wasn't the reason we only got a lifesaving draw. He didn't prevent us from scoring and God knows the opportunities were there in the 2nd half. We played poorly in the 1st half and it had nothing to do with the refs performence. We played much better in the 2nd half, especially against 10 men, but we couldn't score the winning goal and that had nothing to do with the refs performence either. Let's deal with what we did on the pitch, not make excuses and blame the referee.

My worst fears nearly materialized, a loss would have been unbearable. Cisse was anonymous the entire game. Williamson should get a medal for shirt pulling in the box. Hard to believe Ba missed the penalty. Plaudits to Shola for saving our bacon. BenArfa certainly made an impact. Why was Santon taken off? 2 points needlessly dropped.

Questions on Pardoo's strategy. (1) Why did he start Raylor who was coming off an injury instead of Guthrie who had been playing well? (2) Why didn't he put BenArfa on earlier? (3) Why did he take Cisse off? (4) Why did he take Tiote off? (5) Why did he put Stroller on?

So that was our best team that started eh? Well even though we were 2 up at an early stage we didn't look like a good enough team to beat a bottom three team. We couldn't hold the ball as well as they did, they looked more dangerous than we did, and Krul was busier than their keeper was. When Wolves scored their first goal in the 2nd half it became a nail-biting situation, and when they got their second it became a "we're gonna fucking lose this one" drama. Guthrie's entry should settle the argument if he's better than Cabaye. Wolves weren't lucky to get a point, we were!! I think we should forget all about Europe after that dismal display.

My oh my Pardoo, BenArfa's certainly slipped down your picking order hasn't he? Today should determine that we really should have got a defender while the window was open. Had bad feelings about this game but 2 goals in 4 minutes banished the bad feelings and replaced them with total despair, then 3 & 4 brought on absolute misery. Ba & Cisse looked as though they could prove to be a good combined strikeforce, but only if they get decent service. Obertan........no comment. Simpson........no comment. Williamson.....no comment.
