 Black Garlic- anyone familiar with it? 
 

I’m thinking it’ll be nice in a Carbonara, but I love Carbonara and don’t want to fuck one up by chucking this in if it’s minging in it. 
 

 

I reckon if you add it just as the pancetta is done?

If it goes wrong just pop a cherry tomato on with a bit chilli flakes. :good:

Canny vinegary, isn't it? I'd guess it'd go well with the cheesy carbonara sauce?

I find black garlic quite a subtle flavour, not over powering at all.

Its sat in pristine condition ever since on a shelf.
