And so it goes.

Toothless up front.

Not much accomplished in the middle.

Too many errant passes.

Couldn't keep the ball once it was in their half.

Never looked like pulling anything out of the bag.

Deserved to lose.

Pardew needs to rethink.

God if the M-O is going to be ex Newcastle players scoring against us this season (N'zogbia, duff) we still have Carroll,Owen and Martins to come yet :D

I know people always say that with Newcastle the goals often come from the midfield, and that's why we are a threat - if this is an indication of future performances - twinned with the fact we have some very tough fixtures coming up and are 6 points from safety? dark times ahead methinks

For the next 6 weeks, our best strikers are Leon Best and Nile Ranger. We have one substitute in Lovenkrands. What if one of them gets injured, who do we have? Vuckic? Donaldson? This is a fucking joke.

Lovenkrands is better than Ranger. Lovenkrands displays some centre-forward ability with his movement

Aye, like he did v Stevenage..............oh wait :D

Ranger made one of the worst misses in St Jame's Park history the other week. Still, he's got greatttt potential hasn't he? Couldn't score in a turkish brothel

Are you really arguing who's best between Ranger and Lovelyhands?

Have you no shame???

And Wilson's performance?

Seems to be some massive knee jerking on this thread. We lost by one goal to a team who have won their last 5 at home, and who thrashed spurs a few days ago.

Home form will keep us up. If Carroll had been injured for the rest of the season rather than transferred, would everyone be so quick to write us off?

Fulham are a tidy well organised side at home but don't create much, real shame Ricky lost the flight of that ball.

Once Bafra and Totty get back we should be alright.

Need to get to 40 points asap.

Ranger not really upto it though, so might have to go back to one up front.

You can hardly blame anyone for being a bit negative this week, can you?

Enrique & Williamson had poor games tonight (particularly Jose) but tbf to them both; everyone can have poor games and those two haven't had a bad season. It just looks worse because we're all on a downer and we've lost.

Imo Lovenkrands has an intelligence about his play that none of the others have, but thats not enough adn we're so light in the rest of our striking department that Lovenkrands intelligence still leaves us woefully short.

Barton is not a right winger and never will be, Guthrie even less so; so fuck knows why we loaned Routledge out. Fucking stupid window and we'll reap the rewards of our lack of activity and our gambler's approach.

If we get 6 points out of our next 6 games and bare my arse in the nearest fenwicks-type window.

Yeah Ricky seems to have got the ideas he's the best left back in the world.

Knee jerking? Where do you expect the goals to come from now? Apart from Nolan, there is no-one else in the team who we can expect to score each game. Having no firepower up front makes your midfielders unsure on what pass to play and therefore play more deep, so i can see Barton and Nolans' performances defintiely being affected.
