Alex 38411 Posted Friday at 07:26 Share Posted Friday at 07:26 Schrodinger’s mackems. Where you’re simultaneously a ‘massive’ club with global recognition whilst being utterly obsessed with how you’re perceived in relation to your rivals (as per that thread) and are a stepping stone for promising youngsters

I'm no expert on these fuckers but other than bellingham, who they intermittently hated and thought was shite and appears to be a massive punt by dortmund that he turns out like his brother. surely birmingham city have a bigger claim on the development of either of the bellingham boys than these mackem cunts? isn't their only other big sales in these amazing few years ross stewart to southampton for £8m in '23, played 15 scored 1 and jack clarke to ipswich for about £12m, 0 goals in 20 league appearances, hated by the tractor boys and is being punted out after only a year? duly noted and in awe. What we took notice of was the fact that out of the biggest transfers of young players from the championship to the PL - none of them came from Sunderland

Yeah it's reminiscent of when we had Ardiles in charge. Absolutely no money so had no option but to go with the youth. Just so happened we had some decent talent coming through in the likes of Clark, Watson, Elliott, Howey, etc. at that time.

Kevin Carr's Gloves 4494 Posted Friday at 09:05 Share Posted Friday at 09:05 Have any of the makems claiming STID (ironically sounding like VD) makes them “fashionable” actually seen it? Because it actually makes the whole club including fans look like complete basket cases. That’s also ignoring it totally makes the fans look like inbred appalachians. 1

Kitman 2570 Posted Friday at 11:50 Share Posted Friday at 11:50 I may be massively missing the point (of there is one) but I assumed SR6 = six in a row rather than an actual postcode

Gemmill 53682
It's all just a distraction piece from how badly their bollocks are gonna get flicked next season. They've got another 8 weeks or so of "mag shirts" and "sunlun's global reach" to talk about before their fucking world falls apart.

Renton 25002
Just been for a lovely walk in Tynemouth. Didn't see any Mag tops at all. I did see one person in SAFC merch*. They're easy to spot and hear as people step apart and clap. Just like those MLF weirdos, I photomugged him outside the Gib as evidence. He didn't seem to mind, * All true until this point.
Renton 25002
So, can anyone bring me up to date on who the mackems have signed? They've gone from being pragmatic realising relegation is most likely, to having absolute belief they will be top half of the Premier league next season? This is pretty universal amongst them. A couple of signings mentioned I havent heard of, googled them, and still 🤷♂️. I guess we're at the south end of the mackem boom bust cycle currently.
