Dr Gloom 24832
Saw Trevor Noah at the Apollo yesterday. A comedian at the top of his game. A two hour set absolutely flew by. He took questions from the audience at the end and just riffed for the last half hour - superb talent
Ayatollah Hermione 15542
Off to the Wylam Brewery now to see some lads called Start to End play Prefab Sprout’s 1985 MASTERPIECE Steve McQueen in full and might round off the two day effort with Father John Misty at the Sage tomorrow if I buckle to temptation through the day tomorrow
spongebob toonpants 4658
Saw the mighty Osees last night. The twin drummer thing really works, absolutely mesmerising. It was loud it was propulsive, the audience was jumping. A great night On the down side I've got a fucking stinking hangover, can't remember getting home. Blastronaut 1419 Posted Friday at 19:23 Share Posted Friday at 19:23 I saw the supposed stage times were leaked earlier, most of the bands seem to playing 10-15 sets, and the two "Supergroup" sets are both longer than Sabbath are due to play. Maybe experiences at Hamden and Murray field have made me unfairly judgemental towards gigs in stadiums in general. If it was a proper open air festival with that line up I'd have been there bells on, but seeing this was at Villa Park really put me off the whole thing. Im sure it'll still be a cracking day out for anyone that gets to go, it just seems like it could have been so much more if they'd made it a proper final Ozzfest rather than this Football Stadium shite. Ayatollah Hermione 15542 Posted Friday at 19:32 Share Posted Friday at 19:32 Having to sit on the settee while my lass watches a livestream of Oasis’ gig that is cutting out every 10 seconds, sounds total shite and is punctuated with some lass singing along badly. From what I can hear, Liam Gallagher doesn’t sound total dogshit for a change so I’m assuming he’s miming

Generations of people facing similarly unpleasant domestic situations are exactly why things like headphones, pubs and divorce are so popular. I had been quietly holding out in hope that these Oasis reunion shows world be cut short after a massive on stage brawl that would put the View and Janes Addictions recent shenanigans to shame, culminating in one or both of those two shitheads getting permanently taken out by an overzealous roadie or a freak hanging accident from the cord from a Parka jacket hood, but neither of them are deserving of such a rock n roll death and theres clearly far too much money behind these shows for anything to go awry beside maybe one these cunts calling his brother a cunt, which the music press would undoubtedly milk for the best part of a fortnight.

Ayatollah Hermione 15542 Posted yesterday at 06:12 Share Posted yesterday at 06:12 I did fuck off into the kitchen after it was apparent that she was actually going to listen to the whole bastard thing. Kid Dynamite 8173 Posted yesterday at 15:29 Share Posted yesterday at 15:29 Ended up with 2 tickets so brought the wife. There's no my much gap between bands so they've got a rotating stage where the next band gets setup while the current band is playing. Pretty cool tbf
