Wayne Kramer MC5's (Motor City 5) guitarist and like the Stooges one of those bands that were a huge influence on punk and all the genres that followed.

Kick out the jams, motherfukcers.

I saw the MC5 play with Primal Scream at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the 2008 Meltdown Festival.

It was Very. Fucking. Loud.

Especially the last few songs when they all hit the stage together. Fantastic night

RIP

Aston Barret from the Wailers also died, the house band in the afterlife got a few more members today.

“Barrett's "Family Man" nickname came about before he had any children of his own. Aston foresaw his role as a band leader and started to call himself "Family Man".

He subsequently fathered 41 children”

Ian Lavender 77 :rip:

He must have been the last of them I'd presume?

(Can't remember any youngish characters in it?)

Related to Ian lavender (sort of) when we started going to London for matches by train in about 81 or 82, the first celebrity we ever saw was John Le Mesurier in the Cockney Pride near Picadilly.

I think Pete Burns out of Dead or Alive (not a question mark any more) was the second.

I think apart from the spiv, who’s been dead for about 50 years, and Ian Lavender, Clive Dunn was about the youngest of the main ones. As he wasn’t as old as looked / the character he played. But obviously no spring chicken and also long gone

He was reincarnated as either Gabby Agbonlahor or the Don and Methven.
