 Aye I know fully why they would do it but honestly would they not get a better response if they did a proper job and tried to get a sense for the nature of the charges, really looked into the rules to see if there was anything, and to get an idea of what the actual punishment might be? Instead they put up 3 paragraphs about insolvency charges ffs, they may as well discuss the bans teams get in cases of match fixing as it's equally as irrelevant.

To be fair, their editor will be demanding they get something out. Their boss will be of the opinion that 1,000s of clicks every hour or so, for an enticingly headlined piece is better than waiting hours to get a proper article researched and reported while your competitors are pumping out fresh urls which are generating unique hits.

They only get that volume of clicks then it's a video by Lee. Get a video of him up looking suitably disheveled from his session at the pub talking about things that he has absolutely no idea about with Chris WAAAAAAAAAUGH, guaranteed hit tbh.

"well Chris it's hard to say like.... Could be ye knaa a relegation to the conference, or lower, or something, weyy you nevvor kna kid... be mint back stomping on heeds when we're away to Whitley Bay... me element that".

He does seem to make himself scarce whenever there's a story about finances, or owt that isn't just "Rafa's going to get a big spend".

Tell you what lads, if ever you get in a pinch with the old HMRC, just head over to RTG, there's a fuck ton of experts over there.

 Funny how interested they are isn't it? Bunch of idiots, it'll be a big conspiracy if we just get fined.

I think there's still a possibility most of the wrongdoing was on the side of Marseilles, while I've no doubt our bunch have probably done something off they (and West Ham) may have just assisted in it and went along with it rather than engineering whatever it is. It's a good thing the mackems didn't rev themselves into an absolute tizzy over this and start throwing round made up bollocks as if it was absolute fact despite no one having any idea what any of this is about...

The tards on Twitter moaning about the statement man. Did they expect a full in depth breakdown of the investigation and outcomes after a couple hours questioning?

Aye, honestly I don't expect to really hear what this was all about for a few month. The club especially shouldn't be saying owt at all, it does them fuck all good to come out with any sort of statement tbh.

So basically, what the French side are saying is that we have been giving players/agents bungs as unofficial signing on fees so that those fees aren't taxed? Or the people in France are orchestrating it but we've stupidly agreed to do it along with West Ham United?

Either way, it says a lot about how shite we've been. Cheat the system, bung players and still get relegated.
