It is. Especially given they're only one tier below the PL.

That said, I think the supporter base are partly welcoming it as they hope it'll force that cunt to sell them. No prizes for guessing who is waiting in the wings if he does.

Some factions of that supporter base are absolute arseholes BTW. The continued view that their club wasn't in anyway culpable for the events of April 1989 is equally criminal.

When you think of all the new stadiums and complete rebuilds after the Taylor Report it always feels wrong that Hillsborough remains quite recognisable in relation to how it did back then. Especially that end of the ground

The fact Taylor called out the issues with access to the terrace from the concourse as a principle concern in his interim report and over 35 years later it remains unchanged is disgraceful tbh.

As far as I'm aware they've done 4 things to that area:

1. Installed seats against the existing terrace (I've never been there but i'm told the pitch of the terrace is far too shallow for that.
2. Installed steps at the back of the terrace to provide easy access between there and the stand above.

3. Redesigned and increased the number of turnstiles accessing the rear concourse.

4. Extending the roof of the stand to cover those on the terrace.

But that's it - everything else is as it was on 15.04.89.

At the very least you'd have thought they'd have extended the stand down to the pitch level in the same way we've done with the East Stand so that it has less resemblance of what happened there.

apparently you still have to walk through the same tunnel in the leppings lane end that the liverpool fans did in 89 - it hasn't been redesigned at all - and there was frightening overcrowding and some crushing when we played them in the cup a couple of seasons back. haunting.

Yep. I've been maybe half a dozen times since 89. We were there on the boxing day in 88/89 too...

I played for sheff wed as a kid and there is no chance a club like that should be in this position.

I’ve played in Hillsborough and it was an amazing experience as a kid.

There was so many good people at the club when I was there, coaches who cared about the kids etc. (it was 25 years ago tbf)

Whatever you think of them I would much rather have them in the prem than Brighton or any other random southern team.

Worked with a couple of Weds season tickets holders. Absolute diamond lads. Gutted for em.

Sky building up to today's games by having discussions about tomorrow's game between you know who and even having a count down to it already.

Thing is, Dyche isn't hugely different to NES, in terms of style. He goes long a little more, but he's a fan of an organised deep lying block, with pace on the counter and a targetman feeding off crosses or holding the ball up.

The only players in that Forest side who'll suffer are the bypassed midfielders like Gibbs White and Anderson.
