Something can’t be very unique. It’s either unique or it isn’t.

:sigh: God I miss actual football.

The phrase "very unique" is often considered incorrect by traditional grammar standards because "unique" means "one of a kind"—something either is unique or it isn't, so it can't logically be "very" unique.

However, in modern usage, especially in informal or creative contexts, people sometimes use "very unique" to emphasize how unusual or distinctive something is. While it's not technically precise, it's increasingly accepted in casual speech and writing.

I'm just modern, you dinosaur.

**** REBREAKING NEWS ****

THE RED HOT MITCH SUMMER HAS COMMENCED

We've signed Ivan Cordoba, no wait, Antonio Cordero from Spanish GIANTS, Madrid, Malaga. BIG MITCH had this to say: "This is what I call fit for purpose. An abundance of potential. Eddie can look forward to news of him coming to training in 12 months time, before he's onsold to some one else for a small profit. To be honest it's patronising that they're making me comment on this small time signing when they've already tapped me on the shoulder and told everyone that I wasn't cutting it, but I suppose I have to at least keep pretending so they have to keep paying me."

Linked with Muniz from Fulham as backup to Isak. He's got 12 months left on his contract I think so looks to be the budget (shitter) backup option to Delap/Joao Pedro. Same agency as Trippier.

Muniz has struggled for consistent game-time this season at Fulham, amid minor injuries and strong competition at the club for the No 9 role, but his goalscoring rate of 0.6 non-penalty goals per 90 minutes since the start of last season places him in elite company.

Of players with over 2,000 minutes in that time, only Diogo Jota, Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland have provided goals more regularly from their time on the pitch.

He might want to be no.1 somewhere but if there's something in this the champions league might swing it...24, last year of contact, knows the league and is Brazilian so you'd imagine settling in might be fairly easy...it all makes sense, he's at least as good as peak Wilson...

They haven't factored in the £250m prize money for winning last seasons Sela Cup.

If that's talking about 24-25 then it would be more relevant for the season just gone than it will be for next year, I would have thought. So I would say that's talking about why we were limited last summer.
