For clarity, the second club stuff doesn’t extend to Celtic or Rangers. Although hating them applies whether they have a second club or not

I don’t actually mind Irish or Welsh Liverpool fans so much, and same goes for Scots if it’s their second team really. Even further afield in some cases. The English ones from other parts of the country to Liverpool though. Actually the ones from Liverpool as well

That Tough Guy Mick or whatever he was called was a prime example

My ex-boss is Irish and a Liverpool fan - his brother ran the local supporter's branch in Ireland and did go to all the games but my ex-boss didn't until there was an easing of demand for tickets under Hodgson and they started emailing begging offers for midweek games

He suggested going to the CL final in Istanbul as his first game but I did tell him I'd be forced to murder him if he did that.

On the bright side I did correct his automatic "United" by constantly correcting him over the coarse of about 7 years.

Having a discussion with a Liverpool mate who will not agree that in the 60s Liverpool bought success.

He even suggested that the money spent in 60-62 could have been from a sponsorship deal, or maybe they were paid in instalments. They can't have bought success because they continued spending after they got promoted.

Fuck he's dense.

Little upsets the dippers more than mentioning the Moores and their millions.

And another one - hatrick for one player in the first 15 minutes

It's like lambs to the slaughter. I doubt the Uzbekistan girls are allowed out of the kitchen to go to training.

They were the top stories on last night’s bbc football page,

2 liverpool

2 chelsea

3 man utd.

There were 4 FA Cup matches last night as far as I was aware.

But isn’t it just the thing though we just accept this biased shit?

These are 3 of the 'big 6' Premier League clubs in action. Chelsea's game was full of action and needed a 90th minute winner to settle it. Manchester United's game had talking points and was also settled in dramatic fashion. Liverpool have just won the League Cup and have a chance for a Quadruple and are playing young promising players (which always gets attention), and the 4th match was a 1-0 victory for Wolves over Brighton with little to no drama.

I'd save your wrath for less explainable shit. Like just how we can be so unlucky in the draws/

The BBC and Sky concentrate on the shitty six because that gets them the most clicks I imagine. Haaland’s goal fest at Luton would’ve led the BBC sport website on Tuesday night/yesterday morning 🤷🏻‍♂️
