The bloke basically says that first of all there's some cultural context to be understood here in that Germans will do and say stuff like this and it's just all handshakes afterwards and nobody gets offended. Secondly the people that are saying this are answerable to Bayern's "members", who I assume are the fans (I don't know enough about club structure), and they are suddenly facing a new reality. They have dominated this market for years and whilst Man City coming in and taking players out from under their nose is one thing, now Newcastle are doing it, and this is an uncomfortable moment for them and they are publicly scrambling to justify/make excuses to the members. Yeah, I just thought it was interesting He gets quite a bit of praise as well, however I thought it was quite funny the little discussion about heading the ball, in that he doesn’t like heading or the physically tussle in doing it and has really had to work hard to overcome it.
